I CAN'T SING!, the brand new musical comedy from Harry Hill & Steve Brown, opens in the West End next Spring. As previously announced, Olivier Award-winner Nigel Harman will play X Factor supremo Simon, with CYNTHIA ERIVO (recent Evening Standard Award nominee for The Color Purple) and Alan Morrissey as lovestruck contestants Chenice and Max. Joining Nigel on the judging panel will be Ashley Knight as the ever-positive boyband manager Louis and VICTORIA ELLIOT as pop queen Jordy. Simon Bailey will play the overly affectionate X Factor host Liam O'Deary, with Billy Carter as Executive Producer and Simon's right hand man, Gerard Smalls. Parallel Productions present their official Gala Launch. A fusion of cabaret and concert, musical theatre and acoustic arrangements, the night will host a cast of established musical theatre performers, alongside some new talent, singing stripped back acoustic versions of musical theatre songs. The Launch will be held at the Battersea Barge, at 8pm on Wednesday 4th September.

The sixth Singers Soiree charity concert has announced its transfer from Battersea Barge to the St Giles-in-the-Fields church, just off of Tottenham Court Road on 6 September. Not only does this new venue offer a much more central location but it also boats a seating capacity of more than 10 times the previous venue (moving from 70 to 700 seats).
