TVGN today announced that it will rebrand as Pop across its distribution of 80 million homes on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015. The CBS/Lionsgate joint venture, currently known as TVGN, will embrace a new on-air look and creative design to accompany its new brand promise - celebrating the fun of being a fan.

The Paley Center for Media today announced that the 2014 Paley International Council (IC) Summit will conclude with a special keynote conversation on November 21 between Academy Award winner Angelina Jolie and Tom Brokaw about Jolie's experience adapting the beloved book Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption into an epic drama for Universal Pictures, ahead of its December 25 release. The director will explore how her deeply personal connection with the subject of the book, the late Louis 'Louie' Zamperini,and the retelling of his remarkable story, influenced her filmmaking approach.

According to Variety, Anna Kendrick and J.K. Simmons are currently in talks to join Ben Affleck in Bill Dubuque's THE ACCOUNTANT, which has been in development since 2011. WARRIOR's Gavin O'Connor will direct for Warner Bros.

The hilarious production of the French musical La Cage aux Folles currently plays at the Barn Players in Mission, Kan. The musical based on the play by the same name by Jean Poiret opened on Friday night November 7 and runs through November 23. Kipp Simmons directs the Barn Players production with musical direction by Martha Risser and choreography by Rob Reeder.
