Performing Arts at the Community College of Baltimore County continues its tribute to American Masters with August Wilson's iconic Joe Turner's Come and Gone November 1-5 in the Center for the Arts Theatre at CCBC Catonsville, 800 South Rolling Road.

Witchery is happening in Manhattan and we just happen to be soaking up every spooky moment as the Sanderson Sisters made their much-anticipated cabaret return last night at (le) Poisson Rouge. I Put A Spell On You: The Return of The Sanderson Sisters was everything Halloween and Broadway lovers alike could have hoped for. Full of laugh out loud moments, hip hop dancing, special guest appearances and a witches medley for the ages. This cabaret was true comical absurdity at its finest.

Dear Readers, today I want to talk to you about one of the most exciting companies in town and their latest show, The Williams Project's 'A Bright Room Called Day' by Tony Kushner. Specifically, I want to focus on three aspects of why they and their current show are so exciting and by the end I expect one if not all three aspects will entice you to catch this one, or at least I hope so.

Grandview Heights High School Theatre Arts Program is proud to present Peter and the Starcatcher directed by April Olt, music directed by Lucas Fox. Peter and the Starcatchers, a play with music, is not only the prequel to Peter Pan, but it is also based on the book by Dave Berry and Ridley Pearson. Have you ever wanted to know how Caption Hook lost his hand? What is the backstory of Peter Pan? Tinkerbell? Wendy Darling? This anachronistic tale challenges traditional ideas of leaders, heroes, families, and home.  Complete with mermaids, pirates, lost boys and swashbuckling fun!

They are coming from across the pond and across the country to strut their stuff, show their art and pay homage to the last music the Beatles created as a group - The White Album. It's fifty years later and the music still sings like yesterday.

Just in time for Halloween, Blackfriars Theatre is bringing Rochester the pinnacle leather-clad cult classic, possibly the only musical/science fiction/ horror/comedy in the theatre annals. Prepare to do the Time Warp, because The Rocky Horror Show has landed!

The Texas Mead Association is excited to present the Seventh Annual Texas Mead Fest taking place tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 27 in Seguin, Texas. Texas Mead Fest is a celebration of mead and mead-makers in Texas, promoting the status of the versatile alcoholic beverage made by fermenting honey with water and along with various fruits, hops, spices or grains. The festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Seguin Town Square (101 E Court St, Seguin, TX 78155). Bojangles' Coliseum will host the 'Lit AF Tour' starring host Martin Lawrence today, October 27 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale on Friday, July 27 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000, at all Ticketmaster outlets or at the Bojangles' Coliseum Box Office located at 2700 E. Independence Blvd. Tickets cost between $49.50 and $125 (plus applicable service charges) and are subject to change.

The Coral Springs Center for the Arts today announced that comedian, TV and movie star, author and musician Paul Reiser is scheduled to perform on Saturday, February 2, at 8 pm. The state-of the-art performing arts center is located at 2855 Coral Springs Drive (33065).

This year's Harlem School of the Arts (HSA) Masquerade Ball and After Party, an annual benefit gala in support of the 54-year-old arts organization, surpassed expectations once again by raising over a million dollars, for the second year in a row. Wales Millennium Centre and Wiltshire Creative have today announced initial casting for the first ever UK stage adaptation of Agatha Christie's much-loved Miss Marple thriller The Mirror Crack'd from Side to Side. The Mirror Crack'd will be a European Premiere, opening at Salisbury Playhouse on 15 February before touring to Dublin, Cambridge and Cardiff. The Mirror Crack'd will have an Opening Night on 25 February.

Today, Sonos (Nasdaq: SONO) unveiled its exclusive collaboration with one of the most influential and iconoclastic artists in global music culture, Beastie Boys. Lifetime debuts the bombshell documentary series, Surviving R. Kelly, in a special three-night-event, beginning Thursday, January 3 at 9pm ET/PT. The allure of magic and fantasy in books and films extends to the world of opera, as the Cleveland Institute of Music (CIM) announces its 2018-19 Opera Theater season. The season launches with two 20th-century one-act masterpieces in which human and non-human worlds meet in magical ways, continues with a groundbreaking masterpiece of the French Baroque, and concludes with its annual spring scenes program.

'All About the Washingtons' has been cancelled by Netflix, according to Variety.
