Today, June 19th, Ralph Peer, II, Chairman and CEO of peermusic, will become the first publisher to receive awards from the two largest music publishers groups in the US: the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and the Music Publishers Association (MPA). The Mexican Institute of Greater Houston's Lunada, proudly celebrating its 10th year anniversary, is a night under the full moon. This annual cultural event is reminiscent of those held in small towns and pueblos in Mexico, where community members come together to share music, poetry and stories.
