Jujamcyn Theaters (Jordan Roth, President) and True Colors Theatre Company (Kenny Leon, Co-Founding Artistic Director) have announced the judges for the 5th Annual August Wilson Monologue Competition on Monday, May 6th at 7:00 p.m. at the August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street). The event, which is free and open to the public, features high school students from Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Pittsburgh and Seattle performing monologues by the late, legendary American playwright.

New York Knick All-Star TYSON CHANDLER and KIMBERLY CHANDLER have joined the Broadway producing team of THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL, Horton Foote's classic play which opens on Broadway on April 23rd. This is the Chandlers' first venture in Broadway producing.

The Drama League (Executive Director, Gabriel Shanks) has announced the 2013 Drama League Awards Nominees for Distinguished Play, Distinguished Revival of a Play, Distinguished Musical, Distinguished Revival of a Musical, and Distinguished Performance Award. This June, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma will return to the Civic Center Music Hall with a high-flying, powerful production of TARZAN, starring New York-based actor Nicholas Rodriguez as the title character. Running June 25-29, the show will mark the beginning of Lyric's four-show, 50th Anniversary Summer Season and will feature an original set by Helen Hayes Award-winning scenic designer Adam Koch and Oklahoma City artist Erin Latham.

Naked Angels, the eclectic downtown theater company that recently partnered with the New School for Drama under the leadership of Naked Angels founding company member Pippin Parker, is pleased to announce that New School alumna Liz Carlson will assume the role of Artistic Director of Naked Angels beginning May 1, 2013, further enhancing the relationship between the two companies. Current Artistic Director Andy Donald, who succeeded Geoffrey Nauffts in July 2011 after two years as Associate Artistic Director, departs the company for a new position as a creative producer at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.

Music Director Tom Hall and Baltimore Choral Arts present "Poetry in Song," a unique concert experience showcasing how literature and music come together to create musical gems of the choral repertoire. The Chorus is joined by actor Kyle Prue for this performance on Sunday, May 5, at 3 pm in Grace United Methodist Church in Baltimore. Kyle Prue replaces Kwame Kwei-Armah who will be unable to participate in this program due to an engagement in London.

The Canadian Music Theatre Project (the "CMTP") at Sheridan College presents a staged reading of composer/lyricist Neil Bartram and book writer Brian Hill's new musical, The Theory of Relativity, April 11 - 20, at the Studio Theatre at Sheridan's Trafalgar Campus in Oakville, Ontario. Two additional performances will take place on Monday, April 22, at Toronto's Panasonic Theatre.
