A FOX ON THE FAIRWAY - two-time Olivier Award-winning playwright Ken Ludwig's comedy about a man's eternal affair with golf - will have its British premiere starting Friday, August 25 at the Queen's Theater Hornchurch (Billet Lane, Hornchurch). Directed by Philip Wilson, A FOX ON THE FAIRWAY plays through September 16 and kicks off the Queen's Theater's 2017-18 season.

Signature Theatre presents A Little Night Music, directed by Signature Theatre Artistic Director Eric Schaeffer (Broadway's Follies, Gigi). The story of family secrets is written by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, 2016 MacArthur Genius Grant Recipient, and directed by David Kennedy, Playhouse associate artistic director.

Creative Cauldron opens the 2017-18 season with the DC area premiere of an intelligent and thought-provoking new musical, The Mistress Cycle. Creative Cauldron Artistic Associate Matt Conner is directing the production. Created by an award-winning female musical theater creative team, Beth Blatt (Book and Lyrics) and Jenny Giering (Music), The Mistress Cycle tells the story of five mistresses from different times and cultures.

The Old Globe today announced due to popular demand, that William Shakespeare's exhilarating tragedy Hamlet, has now been extended through September 22.

Comedian Lisa Lampanelli and producer Rachel Karpf announced today complete casting for Lampanelli's new play, Stuffed, opening Off-Broadway this fall in a new production at the Westside Theatre (Downstairs, 407 West 43rd Street), following a limited NYC run last fall at WP Theater.

Playwright Cordelia Lynn's is well aware of the intense, yet important journey examined in LELA & CO. "I knew that the play could be horrifying and shocking and upsetting - and all those things you can get out of visual violence, without actually showing it," says Lynn. "I want the audience to leave and think there are things happening that I don't see -- maybe because I don't want to see".

Following a successful summer run of Aaron Posner's play Life Sucks, Company of Fools' 22nd season of theatre continues this fall with a production of BRIGHT HALF LIFE by playwright Tanya Barfield. Company of Fools' Interim Artistic Director, Ilana Becker, will direct the play, which runs Sept. 27-Oct. 14, 2017, at the Liberty Theatre in Hailey.
