Stevenson High School), representing the Illinois High School Musical Theater Awards, was awarded the coveted Jimmy Award for Best Performance by an Actor on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Broadway's Minskoff Theater. The Jimmy Award for Best Performance by an Actress was presented to Jai'Len Josey, representing the Georgia High School Musical Theater Awards -- Shuler Hensley Awards.

Ryan McCartan, 2011 Jimmy Award winner, will host the 2-hour talent showcase that features dynamic ensemble and solo performances.

Ryan McCartan, 2011 Jimmy Award winner, will host the 2-hour talent showcase that features dynamic ensemble and solo performances. McCartan recently starred as JD in the Off-Broadway hit musical, Heathers, appears regularly as Diggy in Liv & Maddie on the Disney Channel, and is a recurring character on the USA Network's Royal Pains. The event will be held at the Minskoff Theatre (200 W. 45th St) and begins at 7:30 pm.

Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers covering New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway, welcomes Broadway stars Billy Porter, Victoria Clark, Terrence Mann, Andrea Martin and Shuler Hensley as gala award presenters for the 64th Annual Outer Critics Circle Awards ceremony tonight, May 22nd (4PM) at the legendary Sardi's Restaurant. In addition to being acclaimed stage performers, the stars are also former recipients of the esteemed Outer Critics Circle Award. The national organization will post award winners in 24 Broadway/Off-Broadway categories.

Manhattan School of Music held its 88th Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 16, 2014 at The Riverside Church (located at 490 Riverside Drive, New York City). This year, degrees were awarded to 357 graduates from the School's graduate and under­graduate programs who come from 46 states and more than 40 countries.
