A group of cast members from Dancing with the Stars: Live in Las Vegas attended JERSEY BOYS at Paris Las Vegas yesterday evening, May 22, including Joey Fatone, Tia Carrere, Lacey Schwimmer, and Sabrina Bryan. Becky Skoff, Manager and Ronit Muszkatblit, Artistic Director of LABA: The National Laboratory for New Jewish Culture at the 14th Street Y (344 East 14th Street) and David Winitsky, Artistic Director of the Jewish Plays Project, have announced the five projects in OPEN: The New Jewish Theater Residency at the 14th Street Y. The Residency, a unique partnership between a major cross-cultural Jewish center and an innovative young arts venture, will provide space and significant resources to five teams of artists, including four days of study, three weeks of rehearsal, and six workshop presentations open to the public between June 23 and July 1.

Thrusting the Chicken Ranch into the spotlight is Melvin P. Thorpe, a loud-mouthed reporter based on Houston's own late Marvin Zindler. Spicing up the story line is a hot-headed, trigger-happy town sheriff, the Texas A&M football team, and Miss Mona's risque girls. JERSEY BOYS, the Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical, is proud to announce the return of John Lloyd Young who won a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his role as Frankie Valli.
