The New York Philharmonic Ensembles, composed of musicians from the Orchestra, will give its second performance of the 2013–14 season on Sunday, November 17, 2013, at 3:00 p.m. at Merkin Concert Hall with a concert featuring L.E. Jadin's Nocturne No. 3 for Flute, Clarinet, Bassoon, and Horn; Nielsen's Woodwind Quintet; and Schubert's String Quintet. This is a play that deserves to be seen and Molotov certainly does it justice and then some. Incidentally, as my first experience with a Molotov Theatre Group production, I can't wait to see what the company does next.
