Zach Nader's Films Are March's Midnight Moment in Times Square

March's Midnight Moment, a presentation of the Times Square Advertising Coalition (TSAC) and Times Square Arts, features artist Zach Nader's film optional features shown, examining what happens when the product for sale is a mere ghost and the background comes to the foreground. The video will premiere on Times Square's billboards just before midnight on Saturday, March 1st, and play every night throughout March from 11:57 p.m.–midnight. For March's Midnight Moment, TSAC and Times Square Arts have partnered with Moving Image, a video, film, and new media art fair that will take place March 6-9, 2014, at the Waterfront Tunnel event space in Chelsea.

Playwright Thomas Ward to Replace Jonathan Fielding in Greyman's INTERNATIONAL FALLS

Jonathan Fielding (Broadway's Pygmalion, The Seagull) has landed a role in the NBC drama pilot Odyssey and must step out of Thomas Ward's International Falls, a dark comedy about a stand-up comedian and a hotel desk clerk. Ward will play Fielding's role in Greyman Theatre Company's inaugural New York production February 27 through March 7 at The Tank (151 W. 46th St.). The official opening is February 28 at 7 p.m. The March 8 and 9 performances have been canceled.

Virgin America Introduces Posh New First Class Food Service: New Menu Offers Linen Table Service, A Cocktail Hors d'Oeuvres Course And A Custom Created Humphry Slocombe

Virgin America, the California-based airline already known for its award-winning cuisine and international-grade First Class cabin, today announces a new enhanced First Class menu and service that will launch on its long-haul business flights between San Francisco and Los Angeles to Newark, New York, Boston and Washington, D.C. (Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport) as of March 4, 2014. To supplement the traditional after-takeoff cocktail service, the new menu will include the addition of cocktail hors d'oeuvres of roasted tomato, marinated artichoke heart, olive and mozzarella skewer, served with warmed mixed nuts as well as a choice of two appetizers and three entrees in-flight. The 'cherry on the top' of the new service is the debut of the airline's first custom ice cream flavor, developed in collaboration with San Francisco's cult favorite ice cream maker, Humphry Slocombe. The artisanal ice cream will be hand-delivered daily to the airline's sleek home base at San Francisco International Airport's (SFO) Terminal 2 to be served to First Class guests on the airline's eastbound flights from SFO. Today, the airline is inviting its 'foodie' travelers to help decide the soon-to-be signature Virgin America ice cream flavor by casting their vote via Twitter for one of three exclusive ice cream flavors created for the airline by Humphry Slocombe. Travelers in any cabin can also score a free scoop of Humphry Slocombe's ice cream at either of the outlet's two San Francisco locations (The Ferry Building & Mission) by presenting their Virgin America boarding pass from March 4-June 30th. The airline is also updating its First Class service settings, with hot towel and linen table service available on all flights. Full menu highlights are listed below.

West End's JERSEY BOYS Celebrates 2,500th Performance Tomorrow

JERSEY BOYS celebrates its 2,500th performance in London tomorrow, Thursday 20 February 2014, at the Prince Edward Theatre, where it opened in 2008. Its last performance there will be on Sunday 9 March, and then it moves to the Piccadilly Theatre, opening there on Saturday 15 March. The show will celebrate its 6th Birthday in London on 18 March. The musical has now been seen by over 19 million people worldwide and is firmly established as one of the West End's longest running and most popular shows. The show will also be touring the United Kingdom for the first time from September 2014.

Stephen Schwartz & Dee Dee Bridgewater to Present at Bistro Awards Honoring Ben Vereen, 3/4

The 29th Annual Bistro Awards gala, set to take place on Tuesday, March 4, has announced two new presenters. Stephen Schwartz, the Oscar, Tony, Grammy, and Golden Globe-winning composer/lyricist, who wrote the scores to such musicals as Pippin, Wicked, Godspell, and The Magic Show, will present Ben Vereen, the Tony Award-winning actor-singer-dancer, with the Lifetime Achievement Award. And Dee Dee Bridgewater, who recently starred as Billie Holiday in the acclaimed Off-Broadway play 'Lady Day' and who can be listened to twice weekly in her own programs on the all-jazz nonprofit radio station WBGO, will present Amy Niles, acting president and CEO of the Newark-based station, with its award.

29th Annual San Francisco Flower & Garden Show Set for 3/19-23

Chicago's FAME Unveils New Cocktail Program, Menu & More

FAME - the mixology and art-focused bar and restaurant located at 2015 W Division St in Wicker Park designed by HGTV's Antonio Ballatore - will unveil a completely revamped cocktail program, an expanded food menu with larger portions and lower prices, and new art installations including a Banksy print that will all roll out on Thursday, February 20. 'We've been successful since our opening over the summer, but we really want to up our cocktail program and move away from liquor infusions that dominated our previous menu and become more craft focused,' FAME managing partner Brad Gold said.
