Fiddler on the Roof, kicks off Barrington Stage Company's 2012 Mainstage Season for a five week run from June 13 through July 14. The award-winning regional theatre in downtown Pittsfield celebrates its 18th season in the Berkshires under the leadership of Julianne Boyd, Artistic Director, and Tristan Wilson, Managing Director. Directed and choreographed by Gary John La Rosa, with music direction by Darren R. Cohen, Fiddler on the Roof will have an official opening night on Sunday, June 17 at 5pm.

The MainStreet Theatre Company has announced its 2012/2013 season of high quality professional productions for children and families. Once again the company will produce three distinctly different productions for a variety of age groups at the 536 seat Lewis Family Playhouse. The lineup includes two musicals based on popular children's books.

The 20th Anniversary season of New York City Center's Tony Award-winning Encores! series will open on January 30, 2013 with Fiorello!, the show that launched the series in 1994. The season will continue with It's a Bird...It's a Plane...It's Superman, followed by On Your Toes. A Gala Encores! at 20 Celebration on November 12, 2012 will star Tony Award nominees and Encores! alumni Rauil Esparza and Kelli O'Hara.

York Theatre Company presents the 8th Annual NEO 8 tonight, May 21 at The York Theatre at Saint Peter's (Citicorp Building, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). Festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by a champagne and dessert reception to toast the evening.

Pittsburgh CLO has announced casting for its summer season, which includes six shows, featuring the national tours of Come Fly Away and The Addams Family, and CLO original productions of A Chorus Line, Annie, Fiddler on the Roof and Sunset Boulevard. Notably, A CHORUS LINE brings on board a slew of the show's national tour veterans, ANNIE stars Sally Struthers as Miss Hannigan, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF features Broadway's Lewis J. 92nd Street Y today announced the 2013 line-up for Lyrics & Lyricists™, 92Y's celebrated American Songbook series. Deborah Grace Winer returns for her fifth season as artistic director of the series, as well as one of the shows. Guest artistic directors leading the individual concerts are Rob Fisher (with host Sheldon Harnick), David Loud, Billy Stritch and Mark Lamos in his L&L debut.
