92Y'S Lyrics & Lyricists will host I HAVE CONFIDENCE: RODGERS AFTER HAMMERSTEIN, with Ted Chapin, Artistic Director, Writer & Host, Joseph Thalken, Music Director, and Lorin Latarro, Stage Director & Choreographer. Scheduled to perform at the event are Ben Crawford, T. Oliver Reid, Betsy Wolfe, Karen Ziemba and guest artist  Larry Pine. The event will be held Saturday, May 21 at 8pm; Sunday, May 22 at 2pm and 7pm; and Monday, May 23 at 2pm and 7:30pm.

Red Shark Productions presents WINE AND SPIRITS, a new comedy by Thomas Ott directed by Mel Williams at The Playroom Theater (151 W.46th St.) running June 1st through 19th. Symphony Space, the performing arts center known for its innovative music, film, dance, and literary programs, will honor Ted and Mary Jo Shen at the 2016 Spring Gala at Gotham Hall on Monday, May 9, 2016.

A concert celebrating the lyrics of Sheldon Harnick, with narration by Michael Lasser and performances by Cindy Miller and Alan Jones, is slated for Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 3 PM at The New York Society Library, 53 East 79th Street.

Palos Verdes Performing Arts mounts a new staging of 'Fiddler on the Roof,' the timeless musical that has captured the hearts of audiences worldwide for more than 50 years. The production opens today, April 22 and will continue through May 8 at the Norris Theatre on the Palos Verdes Peninsula in the South Bay area of Los Angeles.

The Gospel According to Thomas Jefferson, Charles Dickens and Count Leo Tolstoy: Discord, a blistering comedy battle of wits from Scott Carter, Executive Producer of HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher, that examines what happens when great men of history are forced to repeat it, comes to the Herberger Theater Center, 222 E. The Tony Awards Administration Committee announced today, April 19th that two-time Tony Award-winning lyricist Sheldon Harnick and multiple Tony-nominated director Marshall W. Mason will be this year's recipients of the Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre.

Raise a glass! It was just announced by Pulitzer Prize administrator Mike Pride that HAMILTON has officially won the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
