The Farce will be celebrating this landmark anniversary skewering the biggest news stories, events, people, and pop culture phenomena of the year with its longstanding year-end ritual AIR FARCE NEW YEAR'S EVE, premiering Monday, December 31 at 8 p.m. (8:30 NT) on CBC, with an encore broadcast later the same evening at 12:10 a.m. (12:40 NT).

Misfit is based entirely on an actual letter written by screen siren Marilyn Monroe after her forced confinement to a psychiatric clinic in 1961. The private and revealing thoughts of a true Hollywood legend are revealed as she recounts her harrowing experience. A copy of this letter recently sold at auction for an undisclosed amount.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect when walking into Therefore Choose Life, a new play based on a true story by Broadway leading man Jake Epstein and his mother Kathy Kacer, produced by The Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company. The play is about a man (Joseph, played by Avery Saltzman) who is married during the holocaust, and presumes his wife dead after being separated in a concentration camp. After the war he moves to Toronto and eventually remarries and has a son, never forgetting the love he lost. Thirty years later, just before his 25th wedding anniversary, he learns his first wife is alive and coming to see him.
