Frontier Comedy have announced a solo stand-up tour for American actor, writer, producer and comedian Shawn Wayans in May 2018.

The 14th Annual Sydney Comedy Festival has released a second line up of acts who will be taking to stages across the city and beyond, as part of the 2018 program rolling out from 23rd April to 20th May.

HBO has renewed ANIMALS. for a third season, it was announced today by Amy Gravitt, executive vice president, HBO Programming.

Marlon Wayans is an actor, producer, comedian, writer and film director.  As a stand-up comedian, he is selling out nationwide and adding shows every weekend.  Wayans was most recently seen starring in the comedy spoof Fifty Shades of Black, which he also wrote and executive-produced. He also recently hosted the hit NBC comedy/variety show I Can Do That!

BroadwayWorld previously reported that Dakota Johnson, Leslie Mann, Dan Stevens, and Rebel Wilson are in talks to join the upcoming rom-com HOW TO BE SINGLE, and now Variety writes that New Line is also courting NEW GIRL star Damon Wayans, Jr. to join its roster.

In this one-hour special, narrated by Adam Sandler, the biggest names in stand-up comedy reveal the role the storied comedy club, the Improv, played in their road to stardom. At times poignant, insightful and always funny, the special uses comics' personal stories, home movies, photographs, and archival footage to weave a story fifty years in the making.

On the heels of Election Night, Comedy Central's sketch-comedy duo, Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, from the hit series Key & Peele will perform a free Comedy Week show as part of the weeklong celebration on Wednesday, November 7, at8 pm at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. In addition, more than 175 comedians will be in New York City to participate in the New York Comedy Festival, performing at some of New York City's most iconic venues, including the Apollo Theater, Carnegie Hall, the Beacon Theatre, Madison Square Garden, Town Hall and Carolines on Broadway.

The New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), in association with COMEDY CENTRAL, today announced its 2012 line-up, that will feature some of the industry's biggest stars performing in the city's most prestigeous venues, including The Apollo Theater, Carnegie Hall, The Beacon Theatre, Madison Square Garden, and Town Hall, among others, from Wednesday, November 7 - Sunday, November 11.
