On the heels of the recent premiere of the second half of season nine of its hit comedy series SHAMELESS, SHOWTIME has announced its most-watched show has been renewed for a 10th season. The renewal will make SHAMELESS the longest running series ever on SHOWTIME. Season 10 will mark the return of television's favorite dysfunctional family The Gallaghers that will include series stars Oscar® nominee and Emmy® and SAG Award winner William H. Macy, Jeremy Allen White, Ethan Cutkosky, Emma Kenney, Christian Isaiah and Cameron Monaghan. Production on season 10 will begin in 2019. The announcement was made today by Gary Levine, President of Entertainment, Showtime Networks Inc., at the Television Critics Association's Winter Press Tour.

Vulture will return to Park City, Utah, with its exclusive media studio the Vulture Spot for a third year in a row from January 25–28, where editors will interview and photograph top talent from Sundance's most anticipated films. The video and photo content produced inside the studio will be showcased on vulture.com and Vulture's Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter accounts over the course of the festival and beyond. Sponsors for the Vulture Spot include Autograph Collection Hotels, Roku, and Woolrich. In addition, Autograph Collection Hotels and the Cut will co-host a “How I Get It Done” at Sundance Film Festival panel, the Cut's recurring event series about work/life balance, ambition, and success. Autograph Collection Hotels and Vulture will reunite that evening for an intimate celebration championing the philanthropic efforts of the Art of Elysium together with David Arquette and Shanola Hampton. Wrapping up the weekend, Vulture will host a brunch celebrating Girls Weekend, as well as IFC's Documentary Now! after-party, co-hosted with IFC.

The Art of Elysium has announced the 2019 VISIONARY and SPIRIT OF ELYSIUM recipients for the charity's 12th annual "HEAVEN." Michael Muller will build out his vision of "HEAVEN," which will be unveiled on January 5, 2019. The same night, Beau Dunn will be honored with the 2019 SPIRIT OF ELYSIUM award for her generous support over the years.  The charity is thrilled to have Peter Dundas for DUNDAS grace the runway with the unveiling of his latest collection.

TV One's latest original film, THREE'S COMPLICATED will premiere on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 7 P.M. ET/6C. The project stars Shanola Hampton (Shameless), Tyler Lepley (The Haves and The Have Nots), Kyanna Simone Simpson (The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks) and Charles Malik Whitfield (The Temptations).

On Sunday, September 16, SHOWTIME Networks hosted a privation celebration for the 2018 EMMY nominees at the Chateau Marmont. 

SHOWTIME has announced that the ninth season of its hit comedy series SHAMELESS will expand to a 14-episode order, and will air in two parts – this fall and in winter 2019. The first seven episodes will begin airing on Sunday, September 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, with a midseason finale on Sunday, October 21 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The second half of season nine will premiere on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

SHOWTIME will celebrate SMILF, THE CHI and SHAMELESS at the South by Southwest® (SXSW®) Conference and Festivals from Thursday, March 15 through Saturday, March 17 with art, food and music at The SHOWTIME House at Clive Bar on Rainey Street in Austin, Texas. On Thursday, March 15, SHOWTIME will feature a diverse lineup of female-fronted bands across multiple genres including rising teenage indie rocker Snail Mail and experimental violinist and vocalist Sudan Archives, in honor of the Golden Globe® nominated comedy SMILF. Golden Globe nominee Frankie Shaw will make a special appearance introducing headliner Princess Nokia, whose music was also featured on the show. Friday, March 16 will be dedicated to the hit drama THE CHI, with food from Harold's Chicken Shack in Chicago, a custom sneaker gallery, Chicago graffiti art and featuring live hip hop artists. Chicago-based artist Joey Purp will perform, along with Lee Fields & the Expressions, whose music is featured on THE CHI. The night will culminate with a DJ set from RUN-DMC's Darryl DMC McDaniels, introduced by THE CHI star Jacob Latimore. And finally, on St. Patrick's Day, The SHOWTIME House will transform into an “Alibi Bar” pop up, where SXSW badge holders can party like a Gallagher with drinks served by SHAMELESS stars Shanola Hampton and Steve Howey. Musical acts include Low Cut Connie, Tank and The Bangas and headliners WAVVES.

Robyn Lively (The Karate Kid Part III, Teen Witch) and Shanola Hampton (Showtime's Shameless, You Again) will star in Through the Glass Darkly, a psychological thriller written by Lauren Fash and Susan Graham and directed by newcomer Fash.

Lively and Hampton play Charlie and Amy, an unlikely duo that team up to solve the recent kidnapping of a local girl, a crime which echoes the disappearance of Charlie's own daughter. The script was featured in the Sundance/Women in Film financing intensive in 2017.

SHAMELESS actor William H. Macy was honored with his third win at the 24th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards presented by SAG-AFTRA for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Frank Gallagher.

The Art of Elysium kicked off Golden Globes weekend by holding their 11th Annual Black Tie celebration, HEAVEN, on Saturday, January 6th at The Historic Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.
