After auditioning performers in New York City, Los Angeles, and Sacramento, California Musical Theatre has confirmed casting for all six shows in the 66th Music Circus season. The stellar cast for the season is loaded with Broadway veterans--some of whom are making their Music Circus debuts--Tony nominees, and audience favorites from previous Music Circus productions.

With a cast featuring Broadway veterans and Music Circus audience favorites, the musical comedy Legally Blonde makes its Music Circus premiere to kick off the 66th season. Performances are Tuesday, June 14 through Sunday, June 19 at the Wells Fargo Pavilion.

Magical Music's 5th Annual TUNES IN TIMES SQUARE Benefit Concert Set for 5/1

Magical Music for Life Foundation is thrilled to present its 5th annual TUNES IN TIMES SQUARE benefit concert Sunday, May 1, 2016 on Broadway between 42nd & 43rd Streets in Times Square. The goal of the concert is to raise financial support to produce a new original album of songs for water safety applicable to children with and without specials needs, awareness of our music, and funds to perform our musical written especially for children with autism and other special needs. The event will be a continuous sing-a-thon, where talented children and groups from six states will come together to share the same stage with over 70 Broadway performers from most of the current shows and many past shows. Broadway-Bound? Pam MacKinnon Wants AMELIE to Make Broadway Transfer in 2017

Amelie, A New Musical won the hearts of Bay Area audiences this fall, and according to the Record, it might soon win the hearts of New York audiences. Director Pam MacKinnon revealed in a recent interview that she hopes the show will arrive on Broadway in the next year and a half.

World Premiere of AMELIE, Starring Samantha Barks, Extends Once More

Amelie, A New Musical continues to win the hearts of Bay Area audiences. Due to popular demand Berkeley Rep announces that the show, which was already extended by a week, will run for an additional eight performances - but it must close Sunday, October 18, 2015.  Tickets can be purchased by phone at (510) 647-2949 or online at berkeleyrep.org. The lineup is complete for the concert at Feinstein's/54 Below honoring Kyle Jean-Baptiste, the Les Miserables cast member who tragically passed away August 29. Bring Him Home is set for Oct. 5 and is being organized by the late young star's friend, fellow Baldwin Wallace University alum/Broadway performer Corey Mach, with all proceeds going to Jean-Baptiste's family.

Barks, who is best known for her stand-out performance as Eponine in the film adaptation of LES MISERABLES, will portray the inquisitive and charmingly shy Amelie. Her most recent theatre credits include City of Angels, Cabaret, and Oliver! in London's West End, and Chicago at The Hollywood Bowl. World Premiere of AMELIE Extends at Berkeley Rep

Due to an exuberant reception from critics and audiences alike, Berkeley Repertory Theatre has announced that Amelie, A New Musical, will extend for an additional week. Originally scheduled to close on October 4, the world premiere will now play through Sunday, October 11. Starting at noon today, tickets for the added eight performances can be purchased by phone at (510) 647-2949 or online at berkeleyrep.org.
