Little Shop of Horrors, Slow Burn Theatre Company's final production in the West Boca High Performing Arts Theatre before moving to their new home at the Broward Center, is a devilishly delicious mash up of sci-fi and Broadway, fertilizer and Faust, and of rock, doo-wop, and Motown. This 'horror and rock-n-roll musical comedy' has delighted audiences of all ages for over thirty years, and includes several well-known songs, including the title song, 'Skid Row (Downtown)', 'Somewhere That's Green', and 'Suddenly, Seymour'.

When Broward Stage Door Theatre's artistic director Derelle Bunn mentioned to director Michael Leeds and choreographer Kevin Black that she had an open time slot for a show, and asked them if they'd be interested in 'doing something', they jumped at the chance. "Kevin and I have wanted to work together for a while, and this was a terrific opportunity," says Leeds. "And then, of course, the question became - what should we do?!"

Love blooms in Napa Valley for an aging, unprepossessing grape farmer and a young, world-weary waitress in Frank Loesser's achingly romantic The Most Happy Fella, opening tonight, July 18 (8pm) at the Don & Ann Brown Theatre. William Michals, who triumphed in the title role of last season's Man of La Mancha, returns to Palm Beach Dramaworks to play the Italian immigrant farmer Tony Esposito in this concert production.

What better time to celebrate the season than with a musical comedy based on Allan Sherman's clever parodies of classic and classical music. Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah will open at the Broward Stage Door Theatre tonight, May 30th, and run through July 6th.

Palm Beach Dramaworks, West Palm Beach's multi-award winning professional theatre (201 Clematis Street), is delighted to announce the premiere of an exciting new venture, the Musical Theatre Masters Series. Modeled after PBD's very popular Master Playwrights Series, the new series will kick off on with four concert performances of Camelot, the final Broadway musical from the legendary writing team of Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe on January 11 (8pm), January 12 (2pm and 8pm), and January 13 (2pm).
