Creative teams have been announced for the 2015 Planet Connections Theatre Festivity's Playwrights For A Cause, set to take place at 7:30pm on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at the Sheen Center, located at 18 Bleecker Street.

Actor, dancer and clown Ananda Bena-Weber returns to San Francisco, her hometown, this June in a two-week engagement of her original solo showFANCIFOOL!.

Starring Jason Donovan as Australian speech therapist Lionel Logue in a powerful dramatic role, and supported by a fine acting company under the direction of The REP's Artistic Director Roxana Silbert, The King's Speech opened earlier this year at Chichester Festival Theatre ahead of launching its UK Tour. Christopher Coucill, whose acting credits include Broadway and TV, brings Glen Berger's one-man mystery adventure Underneath the Lintel to Hedgerow Theatre from April 9 to 26.

Shakespeare & Company announced today that Kenneth E. Werner has been elected Board Chair and Treasurer, and Jeffery Konowitch has been elected Vice Chair and Clerk. Mr. Werner has been a Shakespeare & Company Board Member since 2010, and served on the Company's Advisory Board for two years prior to his appointment. Mr. Konowitch has been a board member for the past eight years, and prior to his appointment worked with Shakespeare & Company in various management positions. The new slate of officers follows the recent announcement of the new management triumvirate of Steve Ball, Interim Managing Director, and Ariel Bock and Jonathan Croy, Interim Co-Artistic Directors.

The cast of The Angry Brigade will include Harry Melling, best known for his role as Dudley Dursley in Harry Potter and currently starring in Peddling at the Arcola, Mark Arends, whose credits include Headlong's 1984 and the RSC's Two Gentlemen of Verona, Pearl Chanda who recently appeared in Crave at Sheffield Crucible and Godchild at Hampstead Theatre, and Lizzy Watts, who last appeared at the Bush in Mike Bartlett's Artefacts.

Alex Turner Productions today announce the UK premiere of Tennessee Williams' One Arm adapted for the stage by Moises Kaufman. Josh Seymour's production opens at Southwark Playhouse on 12 June, with previews from 10 June, and runs until 4 July.
