Timothy Watson Joins Tessa Peake-Jones And Aden Gillett As New Casting Is Announced For UK Tour of THE WINSLOW BOY

Timothy Watson, best known for his role as the villainous Rob Titchener in BBC Radio 4's long-running dramatic favourite The Archers is today confirmed to join the cast of The Winslow Boy which opens at Chichester Festival Theatre on February 8th 2018 before touring to the country's most prestigious drama houses including Birmingham Rep, Bath Theatre Royal, Oxford Playhouse, Cambridge Arts Theatre, Salford Lowry, Cheltenham Everyman Theatre, Brighton Theatre Royal, Belfast Grand Opera House, Richmond Theatre and Canterbury's Marlowe Theatre.

Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL has been a considered a classic almost since the time when it was written. The story of Scrooge's haunted Christmas Eve is composed of everything that makes a story grand supernatural visions, likeable characters, heart and redemption. It's the perfect tale to read during the holidays, as well as throughout the year. So it only makes sense that Sally Boyett and Donald Hicken at Annapolis Shakespeare Company (ASC) decided to adapt a version of this classic during the Christmas season.

Photo Flash: First Look at THE OPEN HOUSE at Theatre Royal Bath

Production images are today released for the UK premiere of Will Eno's award-winning play The Open House, directed by former Artistic Director of the RSC, Michael Boyd. The production will run at the Ustinov Studio until Saturday 23 December, with opening night for press on Wednesday 29 November. It will then transfer to London from 18 January 17 February 2018, playing at Notting Hill's Print Room at the Coronet.

Yale Rep to Present Nambi E. Kelley's Stage Adaptation of NATIVE SON

Yale Repertory Theatre presents NATIVE SON, the critically acclaimed new play by Nambi E. Kelley adapted from the iconic American novel by Richard Wright, directed by Seret Scott, November 24 December 16 at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street). Opening Night is Thursday, November 30.

Rubicon Theatre Company presents CHARLES DICKENS' A CHRISTMAS CAROL

Rubicon Theatre Company kicks off its 20th Anniversary Season with the return of the critically-acclaimed holiday hit CHARLES DICKENS' A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Broadway, TV and film veterans Peter Van Norden (RTC's Taking Sides, Copenhagen) and Emmy Award-winner Joe Spano ( NCIS, RTC's Bucky) reprise their roles as Scrooge and Marley, respectively, in this innovative telling of Dickens' timeless tale of transformation and redemption. Adapted by Producing Artistic Director Karyl Lynn Burns and directed by Brian McDonald, the 27-member cast features many of the same actors from the original production that earned a Critic's Pick in the Los Angeles Times and rave reviews from Ventura County Star, CASA Magazine, VIDA Magazine and the Ventura Breeze. This imaginative version of Dickens' novella offers a revealing portrait of the yearning, lost child inside the cold-hearted miserly man. Actors perform in the storytelling style of the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Nicholas Nickleby, playing characters, animals even dressing gowns and doors! CHARLES DICKENS' A CHRISTMAS CAROL opens in Ventura on Saturday, December 9at 7:00 p.m. followed by an after-party at Rhumb Line Restaurant. Low-priced previews are December 6-8. The show runs Wednesdays through Sundays through December 23.

EVERY CHRISTMAS STORY EVER TOLD Comes to Cincinnati

For the twelfth straight year, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company is thrilled to offer a full season of holiday cheer in just 90 minutes with Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!) by Michael Carleton, James Fitzgerald, and John K. Alvarez. This hilarious production is a non-stop holiday romp through everyone's favorite Christmas stories performed by just four actors in ninety minutes. Justin McCombs and Billy Chace, who are respectively twelfth-year and eleventh-year company members, return to poke fun at the holiday season, with returning special guest Miranda McGee, eighth-year company member. This year, CSC welcomes Resident Company Member Maggie Lou Rader to the cast for the first time! CSC Director of Creative Education, Jeremy Dubin, returns to the director's chair. This production is one of the most popular events in Cincinnati Shakespeare Company history breaking attendance and sales records every year. YoungArts to Honor MOONLIGHT's Tarell Alvin McCraney with 2018 Alumni Award

On Saturday, January 13, 2018, the National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts) will honor Tarell Alvin McCraney - Academy Award-winning playwright, 1999 YoungArts Winner in Theater and YoungArts master teacher - with the 2018 Arison Alumni Award at the organization's annual Backyard Ball on the YoungArts Campus (2100 Biscayne Boulevard).
