Stephen Kaliski's THE BRIEFLY DEAD Rises Tonight at 59E59 Theaters

59E59 Theaters welcomes the world premiere of THE BRIEFLY DEAD, written by Stephen Kaliski and directed by Elizabeth Ostler. Produced by Adjusted Realists, THE BRIEFLY DEAD began performances on Thursday, November 16 for a limited engagement through Sunday, December 10. Press Opening is tonight, November 21 at 7:30 PM.

CCBC to Present New Adaptation of Ancient Play EVERYMAN

Community College of Baltimore County presents Everyman, a new adaptation of the ancient morality play written by United Kingdom Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy, Nov. 30 Dec. 4, 2017, performed in the Romadka College Center, F. Scott Black Theatre, at CCBC Essex, 7201 Rossville Blvd.

Stage Version of F. Scott Fitzgerald's MAY DAY Gets NYC Reading

Project: Theater will present a private reading of MAY DAY, by Ryan Krause, adapted from the F. Scott Fitzgerald novella of the same title. With Iliana Stein as director, MAY DAY will offer one presentation on Monday, November 20.

New Casting Information Announced for Premiere of Tina Turner Musical TINA

Joining the previously announced Adrienne Warren, who plays the title role, are Kobna Holdbrook-Smith as Ike Turner, Madeline Appiah as Tina's mother Zelma Bullock, Jenny Fitzpatrick as the alternate Tina, Lorna Gayle as Tina's Grandmother GG, Tom Godwin as Record Producer Phil Spector and Lyricist Terry Britten, Francesca Jackson as Ike and Tina's manager Rhonda Graam, Aisha Jawando as Tina's sister Alline Bullock, Natey Jones as Tina's father Richard Bullock and Tina's first love Raymond Hill, Gerard McCarthy as record company Marketing Manager Erwin Bach and Ryan O'Donnell as Tina's Manager Roger Davies. They are joined by ensemble members Tsemaye Bob-Egbe, Keisher Downie, Kit Esuruoso who also plays Tina's son Craig Hill, Jammy Kasongo, Sia Kiwa, Jason Langley, Kayleigh McKnight, Baker Mukasa and Tanisha Spring and swings Derek Aidoo, Gavin Alex, Edward Bourne, Candace Furbert, Hannah Jay-Allan and Rodney Vubya.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, adapted by Laura Eason from the novel by Mark Twain, will open at The Otto M. Budig Theater just in time for the start of the holiday season! This high-spirited adventure tale will be directed by Associate Artistic Director Sara Clark and features Resident Ensemble members Cary Davenport, Caitlin McWethy, Kyle Brumley, Miranda McGee, and Justin McCombs. THE BOOK OF WILL Comes to Northlight Theatre, Today

Northlight Theatre, under the direction of Artistic Director BJ Jones and Executive Director Timothy J. Evans, presents the Midwest Premiere of The Book of Will, written by Lauren Gunderson and directed by Jessica Thebus.
