London's No. 1 Adult Panto is back at Leicester Square Theatre - and this Christmas season it is Dick!, starring the legendary international DJ and celebrated nightclub diva, Miss Dusty O making her West End stage debut. THOUGHT IS FREE: An Evening of Protest and Solidarity will be hosted by Liev Schreiber and feature Carl Bernstein, Nathan Englander, Shirin Neshat, Lou Reed, and Salman Rushdie. The LA STAGE Alliance Ovation Awards, celebrating theatrical excellence and achievement during the 2012 season, were presented on Monday, November 12, at the Los Angeles Theatre in downtown Los Angeles.

Richard Eyre directs the world premiere of Nick Dear's The Dark Earth and the Light Sky at the Almeida Theatre. Running until the 12 January 2013, with press night on 15 November 2012. Designs are by Bob Crowley with lighting by Peter Mumford and sound by John Leonard. The cast is Pip Carter (Edward Thomas), Pandora Colin (Eleanor), Ifan Huw Dafydd (Philip Thomas), Shaun Dooley (Robert Frost), Hattie Morahan (Helen Thomas) and Dan Poole (Bott/Major Lushington). The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis and Executive Director Patrick Willingham) announced today that the critically acclaimed production of SORRY, written and directed by Richard Nelson, will extend an additional week to Sunday, November 25. SORRY, a Public Lab production currently playing in The Public's Anspacher Theater, opened on Tuesday, November 6 and was originally scheduled to close on November 18. The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced an international collaboration today between Miami's GableStage and the Royal Shakespeare Company to present Tarell Alvin McCraney's radical new staging of ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA. Directed and edited by McCraney, ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA will premiere at the Royal Shakespeare Company's Stratford-upon-Avon home in November 2013 before coming to the United States to play at Miami's GableStage at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts in January 2014 followed by The Public Theater in late January 2014.

NVA presents the heartwarming and hilarious holiday show PLAID TIDINGS. A Special Holiday Edition of Forever Plaid, PLAID TIDINGS marks the return of Sparky, Jinx, Smudge, and Frankie, a teenage singing group who've been sent down to earth by the heavenly Rosemary Clooney to put a little harmony into a discordant world.

Marin Theatre Company continues its 2012/13 Season with a family friendly production of It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, which runs during the holiday season from November 23 to December 16. Jon Tracy directs Joe Landry's live radio play adaptation of Frank Capra's film It's a Wonderful Life. Opening night is on Tuesday, November 27.

Simon Russell Beale stars in a modern dress production of Shakespeare's strange fable of conspicuous consumption, debt and ruin in TIMON OF ATHENS.
