Transport Group, the Drama Desk and OBIE award-winning theatre company, will host New York Times best-selling and National Book Award-winning author Jonathan Franzen following the 7PM performance of House for Sale, by Franzen, adapted for the stage and directed by Daniel Fish,on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street project. Transport Group Artistic Director Jack Cummings III will moderate a discussion with Franzen and Fish, followed by an audience Q & A.

Following a sell out run at the 2012 Edinburgh Festival, Maurice's Jubilee will go on a national tour from January 2013. This is Olivier Award winning Nichola McAuliffe's most recent play and she will reprise her role as Katie, alongside Olivier Award winning Julian Glover (Maurice) and Sheila Reid* (Helena). Maurice's Jubilee is directed by multiple Fringe First winner Hannah Eidinow and has design by Christopher Richardson.

The Lyceum Theatre Company announced today that internationally renowned Scottish actor Brian Cox, CBE has agreed to become its Honorary Patron in support of its future development and cementing his long history with the company.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Haydn Gwynne has been cast as Margaret Thatcher opposite Helen Mirren as the Queen in Peter Morgan's play The Audience at the Gielgud Theatre. Due to the impending storm and the closure of PFI Historic Park, Chesapeake Shakespeare Company has postponed its final SOLD-OUT performance of Richard III. A special encore performance of Richard III has been announced for today, November 4, 6:00 pm at the PFI Historic Park in Ellicott City.

A Shakespearean tale of one of the most famous couples in all of history performed by some of the best actors in town and directed by one of Seattle's best directors. You'd think it'd be a slam dunk success wouldn't you? Well, you'd be right. And even with a few moments that missed the mark for me and a show that could still use a little tightening, this almost three and a half hour production of "Antony and Cleopatra" from Seattle Shakespeare Company grabbed my attention and wouldn't let go.

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, Cincinnati's stage for the classics, is delighted to present Osacr Wilde's most perfect comedy, "The Importance of Being Earnest" playing from November 23- December 16, 2012. This production is directed by Cincinnati Shakespeare Company Producing Artistic Director Brian Isaac Phillips and features CSC Resident Ensemble Members Sara Clark, Jeremy Dubin, Jessie Wray Goodman, Jim Hopkins and Brent Vimtrup. The production design is generously sponsored by Towne Properties.

The Country Playhouse will pre­sent Murdering Marlowe by Charles Marowitz, in its Black Box venue for three weekends only, November 2 - 17. Performances are todays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm, with a Sunday matinee on November 11 at 2:00 pm, plus a week­night show on Thursday, November 15, at 7:30 pm.
