The original New York cast -- Amy Brenneman (Judging Amy, NYPD Blue, Private Practice), Beth Dixon, Virginia Kull, Kellie Overbey andLee Tergesen (Monster, Wayne's World, Weird Science) - are set for the West Coast premiere of Rapture, Blister, Burn, written by Gina Gionfriddo, in the Gil Cates Theater at the Geffen Playhouse, opening Wednesday, August 21, 2013 (previews begin August 13).

The Weinstein Company has just unveiled the first theatrical trailer for the upcoming documentary investigating the life of the notoriously reclusive author J.D. Salinger. Shane Salerno directed the film, who most recently co-wrote and executive produced Oliver Stone's SAVAGES. Salerno also produced the documentary along with Buddy Squires and Deborah Randall. The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced today that due to inclement weather, The Public Theater Gala performance of THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE will now happen on the rain date, Tuesday, June 11 at 8:00 p.m. at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. A stand-by line for tomorrow's concert performance will start forming at 6:00 p.m. with any available tickets given out just prior to curtain.
