KRIS KRINGLE The Musical is a new Broadway-bound production being developed in Cleveland by New York's Angel Polar Bear LLC in association with Broadway's Creative Licensing Group, one of the producers of the Tony Award-nominated musical Little Women.

It was revealed today in Cannes that Katee Sackhoff (“Oculus,” “Riddick,” “Battlestar Galactica”) will star in the supernatural horror film “Don't Knock Twice,” directed by Caradog James and being sold in Cannes by Content Media.

The exquisitely talented actress and artist, Jane Seymour, visits Ocean Galleries (9618 Third Avenue, Stone Harbor, NJ/609-368-7777) for a Memorial Day exhibition, bringing an extraordinary collection of her latest oil paintings and watercolors. 'Jane Seymour: Up Close and Personal' opens today, May 15, 2015 and runs through Monday, May 25, 2015, with all artwork on display available for acquisition. Due to the popularity of the artist and her artwork, the exhibit will open for a special preview today, May 15, a week prior to Ms. Seymour's arrival, and will be open daily from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM in the Stone Harbor gallery until Thursday, May 21. The preview week offers an opportunity to view Jane's artwork in an intimate and relaxed setting. A private reception prior to exhibition hours will be held Memorial Day weekend offering a unique exchange with the artist as she personalizes artwork acquired during preview week. Beginning Today, May 22 through Monday, May 25, the gallery will be open from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM for the 'Jane Seymour: Up Close and Personal' exhibition. Gallery guests will have the opportunity to meet Ms. Seymour during receptions from 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM today, May 22 and Saturday, May 23, and 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Sunday, May 24. A multiple Emmy and Golden Globe winning actress, Jane Seymour has proven her talents in virtually all media, the Broadway stage, motion pictures, and television. The multi-talented artist has written over 10 books and launched Jane Seymour Designs, a national lifestyle brand inspired by her homes, art, and family-centered lifestyle. Seymour began painting more than 20 years ago as part of a healing process for personal challenges experienced at that time. Since then, Ms. Seymour has emerged as an established and accomplished painter, creating an intimate world of delicate watercolors, colorful vibrant oil paintings, pastels, and bronze sculptures. She has exhibited in many North American galleries, has accepted select private commissions, and continues to reach new artistic levels by constantly developing her technique, style, and subject matter. Ms. Seymour's love for art and design developed at an early age in England, where family gifts were created, rather than purchased, as a form of self-expression. She enjoyed many museum visits and had a profound early experience discovering Matisse's stunning motifs and Chagall's magical palette, both of which later influenced her as a colorist. An inspirational trip to paint in Monet's Garden (Giverny, France) became Seymour's personal tribute to the Impressionists, resulting in an elaborate series of paintings and watercolors depicting the famed gardens. Her Ocean Galleries exhibition also includes numerous beachscapes and figurative paintings, many of which were inspired by her home life in Malibu, CA and recent visits to the East Coast. Along with the gorgeous fine artwork she has painted and sculpted, her love of art and color led her into the world of design with a variety of projects, ranging from her 'Open Hearts by Jane Seymour' jewelry collection, to fine furniture with Michael Amini, home accessories, and botanicals. Most recently, Ms. Seymour worked with Fotiou Fine Moulding by Design to develop her own signature line of picture frame mouldings. 'As an artist, I have always felt that the frame design truly completes the artwork and enhances the setting for where it is displayed,' said Seymour. Ocean Galleries, which has been providing creative custom framing for 30 years, was one of the first galleries to carry Ms. Seymour's frame styles. 'We were fortunate to host Jane at the gallery in 2007 and have carried her artwork in our Stone Harbor and Avalon locations since that time. The Public Theater will begin previews for the MOBILE SHAKESPEARE UNIT production of MACBETH on Sunday, May 17. Directed by Edward Torres, MACBETH follows a three-week tour, bringing free Shakespeare to audiences who have limited or no access to the arts. The production will run at The Public Theater through Sunday, June 7 with an official press opening on Wednesday, May 20. All tickets are $20.

Alex Turner Productions today announces the full cast for the UK premiere of Tennessee Williams' One Arm adapted for the stage by Moises Kaufman. Josh Seymour directs Joe Jameson (The Divinity Student), Georgia Kerr (The Girl in the French Quarter), Peter Hannah (The Guard), James Tucker (Lester) and Tom Varey (Ollie Olsen). The company members play multiple roles around the central character of Ollie Olsen - characters weaving through the complex tapestry of his life. The production opens at Southwark Playhouse on 12 June, with previews from 10 June, and runs until 4 July.

Some three decades after its first premiere, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS still delivers on its promise to be an enjoyable romp for its audiences. In this production, there is a great deal of fun to be had in the kind of musical that offers only the slightest commentary on the world around us - 'whatever they offer you, don't feed the plants' - and mostly expects its viewers to kick back, relax and go along for the ride.

At times, it can be hard to imagine that there was ever a period in history when society was as celebrity-obsessed as we are right now. With the internet, social media, Twitter, 24-hour cable news and everything else, information about the rich and famous is everywhere, all the time. It seems impossible to avoid and seems that the public's appetite for it is insatiable. On the other hand, David Adjmi's play Marie Antoinette, now playing at the Gamm Theatre, casts the famous French queen in much the same kind of world. And while the uneven play doesn't offer much that's new or original, it does provide another lens through which we can view and examine our own society and it's problems.

The world premiere production of MARLEY, the first original musical based on both the life and music of Bob Marley, began rehearsals March 24 at Center Stage, the State Theater of Maryland. MARLEY begins tonight, May 8, and runs now through June 14.

On Monday, May 18th at 7 p.m., performing arts high schools from four boroughs will present samples of their best work of the year at Circle in the Square Theatre. Book of Mormon cast member and Circle in the Square Theatre School alumnus Christian Dante White will welcome the performers and inspire them to keep their dream alive. This annual event is the centerpiece of Circle in the Square Theatre School's Teens on Broadway program.
