Due to overwhelming demand, SILENCE! The Musical has just added two performances to the weekly playing schedule (as of October 23rd) at the Elektra Theatre in Times Square: Tuesdays at 7 PM and Saturday matinees at 2 PM.

After a popular appearance last fall, City Theatre welcomes back Seth Rudetsky with his brand new show, Seth's Big Fat '70s Show, a City Events special presentation featuring Rudetsky's celebrated, comic "deconstructions," now applied to 1970s variety and awards shows. Seth's Big Fat '70s Show runs in City Theatre's Hamburg Studio Theatre tonight, October 25-28, 2012.

Jeffery Roberson, aka drag superstar Varla Jean Merman, will return to New York this fall in the title role of Menotti's musical thriller THE MEDIUM at the Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater, directed by Donna Drake, running from tonight, Oct. 25th - Nov. 11th.

On November 5, host Christopher Meloni will welcome celebrities, Broadway greats, philanthropy influencers and the New York elite to celebrate Make Believe on Broadway. The GYPSY OF THE YEAR Competition, Broadway's celebration of the tireless work of ensemble singers and dancers, will be back for its 24th year on Monday, December 3 (4:30 PM) and Tuesday, December 4 (2 PM) at the New Amsterdam Theatre (214 West 42nd Street). The event is produced by and benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The York Theatre Company has announced the first Off-Broadway revival of the of Closer Than Ever, with lyrics by Richard Maltby, Jr. and music by David Shire, will end its extended run with its 150th performance on Sunday evening, November 4, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at The York Theatre at Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue) where performances began June 5, 2012.

According to the New York Daily News, Tony and Emmy award winner Andrea Martin will play 'Berthe' in Diane Paulus' revival of the Stephen Schwartz musical Pippin, running Dec. 5-Jan. 20 at Cambridge's American Repertory Theater, with hopes of heading to Broadway.

Palmetto Records recently released Tony Award winner and two-time Grammy nominee Betty Buckley's latest solo album, Betty Buckley: Ah, Men! The Boys of Broadway. Inspired by her critically acclaimed 2011 concert at Feinstein's at the Lowes Regency in New York City, Buckley reinterprets classic Broadway songs that were originally made famous by men. 54 Below, has announced that Tony Award winner Andrea Martin will play a three-night engagement of her show "Andrea Martin: Laughing Matters" at 54 Below tonight, October 9 and October 10 and 11 at 7PM. (Originally scheduled to appear at the venue last June, Martin was forced to postpone her engagement due to a bronchial infection.) Seth Rudetsky (Sirius XM Satellite Radio, The Ritz) will join Andrea at the piano.
