FLASHDANCE - THE MUSICAL, the stage adaptation of the 1983 hit film that will play Broadway in Fall 2012, will launch the national tour with an additional company on January 1, 2013 at the Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh, the steel town that serves as the show's setting. FLASHDANCE will go on to play over 25 markets in North America. Additional cities and tour casting will be announced in the coming months.

MEMPHIS is performing in Hartford, Connecticut at the Bushnell Theatre until January 15, and on January 10, Fenkart performed the rousing crowd favorite, 'Memphis Lives in Me' on the show Better Connecticut.

On January 6, Michael Riedel reported in the New York Post that LEAP OF FAITH, which had been planning for a Fall 2012 debut on Broadway was hoping to move to the Spring of 2012 instead. Today, Patrick Healy of The New York Times has confirmed that hope, via a newsletter from producer Daryl Roth, in which she notes that there should be news 'shortly' and that 'hopefully' the show will open in the Spring.

Tony Award winner John Logan will adapt Broadway hit JERSEY BOYS to a screenplay with GK Films, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Denver Center Attractions has announced a high-spirited, award-winning season of Broadway hits headed to Denver.

The national tour of the new musical comedy THE ADDAMS FAMILY, based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, will make its Boston premiere February 7-19, 2012 at the Citi Performing Arts Center Shubert Theatre as part of the LEXUS 2011-12 Broadway In Boston Series.
