POLLYANNA opens at Artisan Center Theater on Today, May 10, 2018 and runs through Saturday, May 26, 2018. The 150 seat Second Stage theater is located at 444 East Pipeline Road in Hurst. Performances are at 7:00pm on Todays and Fridays and 3:30pm on Saturdays. Reserved seating tickets are $22.00 for adults and $12.00 for children 12 and under.

Westport Country Playhouse Opens 2018 Season With FLYIN' WEST

TIMES UNSEEN Explores Diverse Responses To Politics At The Marsh Berkeley

A shocking political reversal has found Americans facing headlines filled with divisive rhetoric while polarized citizens passionately debate the issues of the day. In Times Unseen, a long-term performance workshop series at The Marsh spearheaded by solo director maestro David Ford, the interaction of the political and the personal in times of great change is chronicled onstage. Initiated in 2017 in response to the presidential election, Times Unseen spotlights performers from disparate social, geographical, and political backgrounds, who share their raw, honest, and American experiences. Monthly showcases will culminate in a festival of work in October 2018, just in time for the midterm elections. Times Unseen performers will present their works in progress 7:30pm Monday, June 4 and in collaboration with Stagebridge 7:30pm Tuesday, June 12. Both performances will be staged at The Marsh Berkeley, 2120 Allston Way, Berkeley. The Woman Is Perfected follows the psychological breakdown of a single young woman entangled in abusive relationships and a crippling compulsion to perfect her body through plastic surgery. Written by Ruth Fowler, starring Maliabeth Johnson (Parks and Recreation, Mad Men, American Horror Story: Hotel) and directed by Ryan McRee, this feminist "Everyman" tragedy will have its World Premiere at the Broadwater Theatre's Second Stage in association with the Hollywood Fringe Festival.

Cast and Creatives Announced For West Coast Premiere Of NATIVE GARDENS!

The Old Globe's 2017-2018 Season continues with today's announcement of the complete cast and creative team for the West Coast premiere of Karen Zacarias's Native Gardens, which was developed in the Globe's 2017 Powers New Voices Festival. Edward Torres (the Globe's Water by the Spoonful) directs this uproarious new comedy, playing May 26 - June 24, 2018 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Tickets start at $30.00 and are on sale to the general public now. Previews run May 26-30. Opening night is Thursday, May 31 at 8:00 p.m.
