Hennepin Theatre Trust announced today that Just for Laugh's Stand Up Comedian of the Year SEBASTIAN MANISCALCO will bring his national WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? Tour to the historic State Theatre (805 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis) on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, Sept. 30 at noon at the State Theatre Box Office, charge-by-phone at (800) 982-2787 and online at HennepinTheatreTrust.org.

Sebastian Maniscalco is the 2016 Just for Laughs Stand Up Comedian of the Year, and is quickly becoming one of the most sought after funny men in the business today. A frequent guest on networks such as Showtime and Comedy Network and host of the wildly popular podcast, "The Pete and Sebastian Show", Maniscalco has announced a performance at the Fox Theatre today, May 19 at 7 p.m. in support of his newest comedy special Why Would You Do That?

Last year's Just for Laughs' Stand Up Comedian of the Year Sebastian Maniscalco continues to bring the laughs once again to Las Vegas with a highly anticipated stop of his "Why Would You Do That" tour at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Maniscalco is scheduled to perform Sunday, October 8. Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, May 12 at noon PT. The event is presented jointly by AEG Presents and Caesars Entertainment.

The Garden of Dreams Foundation announced today that MSG Networks' Knicks Broadcaster, Today Show Contributor and Garden of Dreams Foundation advisory board member Jill Martin is the recipient of the 2017 Garden of Dreams Hero Award.

Jerry Seinfeld, previously announced as part of a star-studded lineup, will be unable to attend the Garden of Laughs fundraiser for The Garden of Dreams Foundation at The Theater at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, March 28th.  Instead, Seinfeld announced that he would donate the proceeds from an upcoming 2017 show at the Beacon Theatre to the Foundation.
