Northrop at the University of Minnesota announces its 10-11 dance season curated by Director of Concerts and Lectures at Northrop, Ben Johnson. This year, Northrop will continue to uphold the tradition of presenting world-class dance by providing an extensive scope of the finest American and International ballet, modern, and contemporary dance featuring renowned choreographers, world-class dance companies, and magnificently talented dancers.

Seattle Theatre Group (STG) presents the third annual collaboration of Mark Morris Dance Group with Seattle Symphony on May 21-23 at The Paramount Theatre. This year's engagement includes Seattle Symphony performing Haydn's Horn Concerto No. 2 in D major, A Lake; Bach's Jesu, Meine Freude; and Vivaldi's Gloria. The Tudor Choir will join Seattle Symphony for the Bach and Vivaldi pieces, and Gloria will feature special guest conductor, Seattle-native Mark Morris.

Johann Sebastian Bach never wrote a conga, or a bolero, or a cha-cha-cha. Fortunately this oversight has now been rectified by TIEMPO LIBRE, one the hottest Latin jazz bands working today.
