A staple of the Philadelphia theatre season for the past 12 years, This Is The Week That Is brings to the stage sharp satire and content that changes with the headlines. This Is The Week That Is opens Wednesday November 29th at 7pm at Plays & Players Theatre, 1714 Delancey Place, in Center City. Preview performances begin Today November 24th. Personally, I felt this show provided a perfect escape from the madness of this year's political season, and it was a pure two hours of laughter. Everything about this show was brilliant from the writing to the use of digital media to the impersonations and skits. This is one show that you will be sorry if you miss this season, especially if you have the election time blues.

Quintessence concludes its sixth season of progressive classic theatre with the Devil and Saints Repertory: Shaw's SAINT JOAN presented in rotating repertory with Christopher Marlowe's DOCTOR FAUSTUS.
