The cast Off-Broadway's Walmartopia will celebrate the release of the new musical's cast recording on the same night it celebrates the show's 100th performance - Tuesday, December 4.

Walmartopia, the new musical currently playing Off-Broadway at The Minetta Lane Theatre, will end its current run at the Minetta Lane Theatre after the evening performance on Sunday, December 30th, it was announced today by the show's producers.

The cast and band of Off-Broadway's Walmartopia recently hit the recording studio to lay down tracks for the show's original cast recording. The recording will be produced by Walmartopia's musical director, August Eriksmoen, and will be released December 1st, just in time for the holidays.
