New York's Public Theater (Oskar Eustis, Artistic Director) and Joey Parnes have announced that the final performances of HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical on Broadway will all offer special deals and programs for students, Aquarians, foreigners, HAIR fans and more, kicking off on Thursday, August 25th with a foursquare Swarm-In in Times Square, at which fans are encouraged to join the Tribe for a Be-In Performance in Times Square, where they can unlock a special discount if enough people check in via the social networking site foursquare. The show ends its 'Summer of Love' run at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street) on Saturday, September 10th before heading back out on its national tour.

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, has broken the house record of the Eugene O'Neill Theatre for the 15th time. The show earned $1,289,947.50 in the 1,068-seat O'Neill for the week ending Sunday, August 14, 2011.

The Broadway company of 'The Book of Mormon' has announced that they will add an additional performance to their schedule in order to perform a benefit 'Special Performance' on Sunday, August 28 at 8 pm. All proceeds will go to The Actors Fund.
