George Street Playhouse today announced the cast of Aaron Posner's MY NAME IS ASHER LEV, which runs April 12 through May 1 at the New Brunswick theatre. Miles G. Jackson (4000 Miles) will portray the titular Jewish artist Asher Lev, who must be a painter despite his faith and the will of his family. Bob Ari (Frost/Nixon, GSP's Red) and Lena Kaminsky (Law & Order, GSP's The Pillowman) both return to George Street to round out the cast.  MY NAME IS ASHER LEV will be directed by George Street Playhouse Director of Education and Outreach, Jim Jack.

'Sex With Strangers' is now on stage at George Street Playhouse through March 17th. This riveting play is written by Laura Eason and directed by David Saint.

What does it take to paint one of the greatest male ballet dancers of the 20th century? One can surmise, a talented artist. But, what if the task of painting an icon became a challenge between capturing the dancer in motion and becoming conscious of the motion of the dancer?

Philadelphia Theatre Company's next production promises to excite with SEX WITH STRANGERS by Laura Eason on April 8-May 8 at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre (Broad and Lombard Streets).  Directed by David Saint, the production features Kyle Coffman as the young, brash writer Ethan Kane and JoAnna Rhinehart as novelist and teacher Olivia Lago.

George Street Playhouse today announced the cast of Laura Eason's Sex With Strangers, which runs March 8 through March 27 at the New Brunswick theatre.  Kyle Coffman (Newsies, West Side Story on Broadway) will portray young, brash writer Ethan Kane; JoAnna Rhinehart (TV's Elementary, Damages) will play novelist and teacher Olivia Lago.  The production will be helmed by George Street Playhouse Artistic Director David Saint.

'Nureyev's Eyes' will be on the George Street Playhouse stage through February 21st. This fascinating new play is written by David Rush, directed by Michael Mastro and start Will Connell as Jamie Wyeth and Bill Dawes as Rudolf Nureyev. This winter, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, the longest running dance festival in the U.S. and National Medal of the Arts recipient, partners with local Berkshire cultural organizations to present dance-related programming throughout 2016.  In the midst of preparing for another bustling summer season, the Pillow's winter and spring partnerships will include presentations by former and future Festival artists at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA) and informational pre-screening talks by esteemed Jacob's Pillow Scholar-in-Residence Brian Schaefer at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center.

Producers Joan Raffe, Jhett Tolentino, and Douglas Denoff announced today that two time Tony Award-winner Joe DiPietro's critically acclaimed new comedy Clever Little Lies, will offer a Producer's Picks performance to benefit The Actors Fund on Thursday, January 21st at 7:00PM at the Westside Theatre (Upstairs) (407 West 43rd Street). The Actors Fund's Producer's Picks tickets are donated by the producers, and can be purchased at http://www.actorsfund.org/CleverLittleLies. All proceeds from the sale of these select tickets to this regular performance will go to The Actors Fund, which helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment.

The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park unleashes girl-powered comedy with THE REVOLUTIONISTS, Lauren Gunderson's irreverent world premiere about four badass femmes of the French Revolution. THE REVOLUTIONISTS debuts in the Playhouse's Thompson Shelterhouse Theatre Feb. 5 through March 6.

Following the critical acclaim and record-breaking ticket sales and attendance of Festival 2015, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival announces a new season of exciting programming featuring international artists, world premieres, and an impressive number of live music engagements. This season signals an exciting new era in Pillow history, as the Board of Directors plans to name a new Jacob's Pillow Director in early 2016. Former Executive and Artistic Director Ella Baff stepped down from her role in September of 2015, following a successful 17-year tenure.
