In a series first, the music that has been at the heart of the show and been beloved by fans came to life for Grey's Anatomy: The Music Event. In the episode, a cataclysmic event rattles the doctors of Seattle Grace to the core, as Callie, on the verge of an enormous life-changing moment with Arizona, envisions her hospital and friends as it has never-been-seen before. 'Chasing Cars' (Snow Patrol), 'How to Save a Life' (The Fray) and 'The Story' (Brandi Carlile) were among the songs performed by the cast in one of the most special hours of 'Greys Anatomy' yet, on the ABC. 'Adrift and at Peace' - Despite Meredith's objections to the idea, a concerned Derek takes Cristina on a fishing trip in order to get away from it all, while Teddy, feeling directionless without Cristina, directs all of her efforts and compassion towards a dying patient (played by Scott Foley) who lacks the proper insurance to seek medical treatment, on 'Grey's Anatomy,' THURS., DECEMBER 2 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Scott Foley (THE VIOLENT HOUR, THE CHERRY ORCHARD) has been cast in a major recurring role on ABC's Grey's Anatomy, according to EW.com. Foley, who has guest-starred on NBC's Scrubs and ABC's Cougar Town, will join the cast as a potential love interest for Kim Raver's Dr. Teddy Altman
