CHICAGO, winner of six 1997 Tony Awards including Best Musical Review, kicks off the Ordway's 2012-13 Theater Season with a one-week run beginning Tuesday, August 7, 2012.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival has added a performance for Mitch Magonet and Joey Miller's RIO, directed by Scott Faris. RIO, will play from July 10 - 18, 2012.at St. Clements Church (423 W. 46th Street). RIO, is being produced by Pinny Gniwisch. The additional show will take place on Monday, July 16 at 1PM.

Tickets go on sale February 4th at 10:00 a.m. The show comes to L.A. direct from Broadway, where it will play a three week run at the Broadway's Music Box Theatre from February 14 - March 4.

TV and film superstar William Shatner will appear on "The Colbert Report" tomorrow Wednesday February 29 on Comedy Central at 11:30 PM.

William Shatner, currently starring on Broadway in SHATNER'S WORLD: WE JUST LIVE IN IT, recently paid a visit to Cat Greenleaf's Brooklyn brownstone and can be seen this weekend on "Talk Stoop" " this Saturday February 25 on "Saturday Today in New York" in the 6:30 AM half-hour, at 1:30AM on Saturday night (actually very early Sunday February 12th), and again on Sunday at 12:30pm. "Talk Stoop" is also syndicated nationally on NBC affiliates.

Television and movie superstar William Shatner will guest on NBC's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" tomorrow night, Thursday, February 23. "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" airs locally on Channel 4 between 12:35 AM and 1:35 AM.

Oddly enough, the most interesting personal observation to be pondered in Shatner's World: We Just Live In It is spoken, not by the titular William Shatner, but by Patrick Stewart.  In a television clip, a conversation between the two captains of the Starship Enterprise, Stewart explains how, despite his acclaim as a classical actor of the stage, he's quite certain that his role of Captain Jean-Luc Picard on Star Trek: The Next Generation, is what he will ultimately be remembered for.  And he's fine with that.

Last night, February 16, SHATNER'S WORLD: WE JUST LIVE IN IT officially opened on Broadway, taking audiences on a voyage through Shatner's life and career, from Shakespearean stage actor to internationally known icon and raconteur, known as much for his unique persona as for his expansive body of work on television and film.
