At 8:30 AM comes the announcement any theatre fan has been awaiting all year for...This Year's Tony Nominations! Tony-Winner Mary Louise Parker announces the nominations along with Bruce Willis, who's soon-to-be making his Broadway debut this fall in a new stage adaptation of the Stephen King novel, Misery. Kristin Chenoweth to Miss Sunday's ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY Due to Illness

BroadwayWorld has just learned that ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY star Kristin Chenoweth will be out again for Sunday's matinee. The star missed performances on Friday and on Saturday due to illness. Chenoweth's understudy is Mamie Parris. No word yet on when she'll be back in the show- stay tuned!

The Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers covering New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway announced the nominees this morning for the 2014-15 season. The first major Broadway/Off-Broadway award nominees of the New York theater season, the organization is celebrating its 64th season of bestowing awards of excellence in the field of theater. The Outer Critics Circle is an association with members affiliated with more than ninety newspapers, magazines, radio and television stations, Internet, and theatre publications in America and abroad.
TDF Hosts Special Performance of THE HEIDI CHRONICLES to Benefit Open Doors Today

Today, April 18th, TDF will host a special reception and performance of The Heidi Chronicles to celebrate the show's Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Wendy Wasserstein, and to raise funds for the arts education program she co-founded, TDF's Open Doors. Open Doors, now in its 17th year, is the first arts education program to be awarded a special Tony Honor for 'Excellence in the Theatre.'
