Tickets are now on sale for Roundabout Theatre Company's one-night only Benefit Concert Reading of Kiss Me, Kate by Sam and Bella Spewak, with music and lyrics by Cole Porter, starring Kelli O'Hara and Will Chase. Roundabout's Associate Artistic Director Scott Ellis will direct this one-night only special event.

Tudo E Jazz - Um Tributo Musical a Kander & Ebb (And the World Goes 'Round - the Songs of Kander & Ebb) debuts at Sao Paulo stage. The show, which brings together renowned names in the cast, is a tribute to the great musicals of the duo John Kander & Fred Ebb, successful Broadway composers, responsible for creating Chicago, Cabaret, Kiss of the Spider Woman, and the great musical hit 'New York, New York', immortalized in the voices of Liza Minelli and Frank Sinatra.

In the last twelve months, more than 300,000 people attended a live theatre production in or around Berkshire County. With 75 stage productions employing hundreds of professionals, making theatre is an important cog in the area's cultural economy. In fact, many consider the region a hot spot for Broadway bound shows, and a popular summer destination for theatre-goers from around the nation.

The Workshop Theater Company will honor Sheldon Harnick with the Jewel Box Award at their 3rd annual unGala on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at The Lindeman 508 W. 42nd Street.

THE BARDY BUNCH: The War of the Families Partridge and Brady, the musical parody by Stephen Garvey that gained cult status during its Off-Broadway run in 2014, is excited to announce casting for its limited engagement in Chicago, September 15 through November 27, at the Mercury Theater, 3745 N. Boston Landmarks Orchestra closes their 2016 Free Today Concerts at the DCR Memorial Hatch Shell on August 31 (7 pm)* with another extraordinary collaboration with Commonwealth Shakespeare Company (CSC).  A concert performance  -  with music and dance - of The Boys from Syracuse, with music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Lorenz Hart, and a new adaptation of the George Abbott book by Larry ( and Jennifer Hart with consultation by 3-time Tony Award librettist (Annie, co-librettist of The Producers and Hairspray) Tom Meehan.  The concert is free and open to the public. *If it is raining on August 31, the concert will be postponed to September 1 at the Hatch Shell. Williamstown Theatre Festival (Mandy Greenfield, Artistic Director) hosts the opening night for the final Nikos Stage production of the 2016 Season Saturday, August 13th at 8:00pm with the American premiere of And No More Shall We Part (August 10th -August 21st).

Geffen Playhouse has announced the addition of award-winning playwright Anna Ziegler's Actually to its 2016/2017 season, a co-world premiere with the Williamstown Theatre Festival. The production is slated to run May 2, 2017 through June 11, 2017 in the Audrey Skirball Kenis Theater at the Geffen Playhouse. Opening night is May 10, 2017.
