Sony Pictures Classics announced today that they have acquired all North American rights to Woody Allen's next film, BLUE JASMINE from Gravier Productions.

And the World Goes Round by Kander & Ebb is a revue incorporating a compilation of their greatest hits and is often performed straight out with no frills or dramatic re-imaginings of any kind. Performers stand and sing center stage , and that's it. There have been two inventive productions within the last six months, one at the Actors co-op directed by Robert Marra and now this newest production at NoHo Arts directed by Gary Lee Reed, which is truly a labor of love from top to bottom.

The Mystery of Edwin Drood is playing a limited engagement at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street) through March 10th, 2013. The original end date was February 10th, 2013. The eccentrically amusing and affecting play by Rajiv Joseph was inspired by a barroom conversation the playwright had with a friend who shared wild stories about all the injuries he had as a child.

Yesterday the cast gatherd at DRG Records to record the cast album of the new 2012 Broadway production. The cast album will be a two-disc set that will also include a new Act Two opening number, additional ballet music from Puffer's opium den, an additional Act One track not previously recorded and eight tracks featuring the confession of each murderer.
