Broadway's Saycon Sengbloh to Perform at SOB's Tonight

Broadway star, Saycon Sengbloh (Motown / Fela / Holler If Ya Hear Me), is set to perform for the YouKnowIGotSoul.com presents SOL Village R&B Showcase tonight, July 16, 2014 at the infamous SOB's (Sounds of Brazil) in New York City where the doors open at 7:30pm and the show starts at 9:00pm. Saycon will be singing her own brand of vintage pop soul music! The concert will also feature performances by Maurice, Clinton Babers, Sincerely XO, and Adreena.

HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME Producer Raising $5M to Keep Show Open

Broadway's Holler If Ya Hear Me opened to mixed reviews last month, but lead producer Eric L. Gold won't let that affect the show's open-ended run at the Palace Theatre. He recently told Variety that he hopes to raise another $5 million to keep the new musical open until ticket sales improve. When asked how long the show will remain, Gold told Variety: 'It's week to week right now. It can't tell you if it'll be two weeks or two months. It's an expensive game, and I'm the guy carrying the load financially. I made a rookie mistake by underestimating how much capital was necessary, but I'm tenacious.'

Broadway's Holler If Ya Hear Me, the new musical inspired by the lyrics of Tupac Shakur, has donated tickets to performances on July 4th and 5th to the USO of Metropolitan New York. These tickets will be given to members of the military from bases in the New York area in recognition of their generous service to the community and the work they do all year long.
