Previews began on November 12, 2011. The roles of David Gamble and Melinda Wells will be played, respectively, by David Turner and Jessie Mueller, in her Broadway debut. The delightful Tony-nominated score by Burton Lane (music) and Alan Jay Lerner (lyrics) is enhanced by classics from their film scores for On A Clear Day You Can See Forever (1970) and Royal Wedding (1951). With a new book by Peter Parnell based on the original book by Alan Jay Lerner, the musical is reconceived and directed by Tony Award-winner Michael Mayer, with choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter. With a Tony-nominated score by Burton Lane (music) and Alan Jay Lerner (lyrics), a new book by Peter Parnell based on the original book by Alan Jay Lerner, the musical is reconceived and directed by Tony Award-winner Michael Mayer, with choreography by JoAnn M. Vineyard Theatre will produce a developmental lab of the newly imagined musical ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER - with music by Burton Lane, lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner, a new book by Peter Parnell based on the original book by Alan Jay Lerner, and reconceived and directed by Michael Mayer - July 25 to July 30 at Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th Street), it has been announced by Vineyard Theatre artistic directors Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern.

The 25th Annual EASTER BONNET COMPETITION raised $3,706,085, the result of six weeks of intensive fundraising for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS by 52 Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring companies. The grand total was announced at this year's EASTER BONNET COMPETITION, which ended in two shows featuring original presentations, songs and elaborate, custom-made bonnets from 17 of the participating shows. Songwriting duo Sam Carner and Derek Gregor-the team behind the award-winning NYMF hit Unlock'd-will showcase their songs on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 8pm in a concert titled Carner & Gregor's Barely Legal Showtune Extravaganza. Hosted by Hair's Andrew Kober and Avenue Q's Sarah Stiles, the event will bring together nine of the most-talented musical theatre students currently studying at schools across the U.S. The concert will take place at the new East Village venue DROM (85 Avenue A between 5th & 6th Streets).

Broadway and Off-Broadway producer Ken Davenport (author of the popular blog, The Producer's Perspective) will present Paul Gordon's Analog and Vinyl as the fifth selection in THE DAVENPORT DEVELOPMENTAL READING SERIES, for readings of new works (plays and/or musicals), on Monday, March 14th at the Davenport Studio (250 West 49th Street, Suite 302, NYC).

The cast of the Off-Broadway production of the new true musical comedy, The Road to Qatar!, featuring book and lyrics by Stephen Cole and music by David Krane, heads into the recording studio to lay down tracks for Jay Records on March 7th. No release date has been announced.

The ever-growing music seller and online community NewMusicalTheatre.com (www.newmusicaltheatre.com) followed up its wildly popular April 2010 launch concert and celebration with an even bigger event at Tribeca's Canal Room on Monday, February 28.Kerrigan-Lowdermilk's 'You Made This Tour' opened the evening with a 7:30pm act.
