Titanic composer/lyricist Maury Yeston has joined a panel that will precede the June 21 benefit concert of the Tony-winning musical. The conversation will focus on the creative process of creating the original Broadway production, the historical event itself, and the ethical issues brought to light by the sinking and the great loss of life. The talkback will begin at 6:30 PM and is included in the cost of admission to the 7:30 PM concert, which will benefit the New York Society for Ethical Culture (NYSEC). Additional casting has been announced for the Monday, June 21 concert of the Tony-winning musical Titanic. The benefit for the New York Society for Ethical Culture (NYSEC) will be helmed by director Matthew Hamel (Utah's Crying, Abington Theatre, I Love You, Madam President, NYMF). Music director Jonathan Tessero (Aida, The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway) will lead an orchestra of 20 and a cast of 24. 'Due to the incredible response and interest we've received since announcing this production, we have decided to put tickets on sale ahead of schedule,' says the production team.

Presented by SAW Theatricals/Sarah Melissa Rotker in association with Deborah Blumenthal, Stephanie Leaf, and Phillip Pallitto, the evening took place at NYSEC's 800-seat concert hall, most recently home to the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, and featured 'Bring on the Men', a song which was not heard in the Broadway production.
