AmoralFEST to Feature Seven New Play Readings, 3/8 - 3/17

As part of the company's 8th season, downtown theatre company The Amoralists will present full-length readings of 7 new plays at 'AmoralFEST 2014: Revengeance.' AmoralFEST is an annually curated series of public readings of full-length plays, portions of which The Amoralists have, over the course of the last season, read in AmoraLAB, the company's monthly(ish) experiment that hands their actors over to promising playwrights and their provocative new plays.

The Amoralists are offering $13 'Friday the 13th' discount tickets on September 13 to The Cheaters Club, written and directed by Amoralists co-founder and resident playwright Derek Ahonen. This world premiere features a cast of 26 actors in a Southern-sized Savannah ghost story that creeps out of the shadows. $13 discount tickets, which include a post-show, behind-the-scenes tour of the elaborate set, can be purchased by using the promotional code of "FridayThe13th" at theamoralists.com or by calling 866.811.4111. Performances of The Cheaters Club take place at the Abrons Arts Center. The running time is 150 minutes with one intermission. Abrons Arts Center is located at 466 Grand Street at Pitt Street.

Previews begin January 10 for a January 22 opening. Performances are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm, and Sundays at 5pm. There is no performance on Sun 2/3.
