GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, will honor the hit ABC show 'Modern Family' at the Respect Awards - Los Angeles, Presented by Centropolis Entertainment, on October 8 at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Also being honored are Out & Equal Workplace Advocates and the GLSEN Educator of the Year, presented by Sodexo.

USA Network has reached an agreement with Twentieth Television, acquiring the exclusive syndication rights to the critically acclaimed ratings hit MODERN FAMILY. The announcement was made today by Jane Blaney, USA's executive vice president, programming, acquisitions and scheduling and Steve MacDonald, EVP, General Sales Manager, Basic Cable of Twentieth Television. Under the agreement, USA will strip the series Monday through Sunday beginning Fall 2013.

The next wave of nominees has been announced for Teen Choice 2010 airing Monday, Aug. 9 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. New categories include Choice Movie Scene Stealer, Choice Celebrity Fashion Line, Choice Web Star, Choice Smile, Choice American Idol Alum, Choice Country Song, and Choice Country Album. 'Glee' and 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' lead the second wave of Teen Choice 2010 nominees with 9 nominations each.

ABC's hit sitcom, 'Modern Family' is known for its realistic portrayal of the average family. The 67th Golden Globe Awards were broadcast live on NBC tonight from the Beverly Hilton. Nominees for the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® for outstanding performances in 2009 in five film and eight primetime television categories and for the SAG honors for film and television stunt ensembles were announced this morning in Los Angeles at the Pacific Design Center's Silver Screen Theater in West Hollywood.

Actors Benjamin Bratt and Edward Norton will pay a visit to ABC's quirk-filled ‘Modern Family' in an upcoming episode, according to a report on TVguide.com. Bratt will play the ex-husband of Sofia Vergara's Gloria, who is now married to the much older Jay, played by Ed O'Neill. Norton portrays the bassist of a band that Julie Bowen's Claire hires for a surprise anniversary party for her husband Phil, portrayed by Ty Burrell. Norton will make his guest appearance in an episode scheduled to air in November.
