Sundays Are About to Get A Lot More Fun with the Premiere of SIEMPRE NIÑOS

Beginning this upcoming January 8 at 8pm/7c, Sunday nights will be more fun than ever with the premiere of “Siempre Niños,” the new TELEMUNDO show hosted by Mario Kreutzberger, Don Francisco, alongside Patricia Manterola and Karim Mendiburu. Viewers will enjoy a spectacular evening for the whole family featuring the world's most talented kids, guest artists, comedy, contests and fun-filled segments in a two-hour format that will transport adults back to their childhood as the young participants take control of the screen.

Israeli Opera Presents LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR With the Opera Orchestra, Israel Symphony, Israeli Opera Chorus and More, Jan. 17

The Israeli Opera will present 'Lucia di Lammermoor' by the Italian composer Gaetano Donizetti, conducted by Daniele Callegari, directed by Emilio Sagi and performed by international and Israeli soloists, The Opera Orchestra - The Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion and The Israeli Opera Chorus conducted by Ethan Schmeisser who will also alternate as the opera's conductor.

BWW Preview: Mazzoli-Vavrek WAVES Gets Second Break, at New York's Prototype Festival in January

For a new opera to have its second major showing less than four months after its premiere is unheard of—but then BREAKING THE WAVES, based on the Lars Von Trier film of the same name, isn't just any opera. This triumph by composer Missy Mazzoli, librettist Royce Vavrek, and direction by James Darrah—with a star-making turn by soprano Kiera Duffy in the central role of Bess—debuted at Opera Philadelphia last September and is having its New York premiere on January 6-9, 2017, over the first weekend of the Prototype Festival at NYU's Skirball Center.

Long Beach Opera Stages Henry Purcell's THE FAIRY QUEEN

Long Beach Opera (LBO) opens its 2017 season on January 22 and 28, 2017 with Henry Purcell's 1692 The Fairy Queen, a re-telling of A Midsummer Night's Dream. The California-based performance troupe Culture Clash and LBO's Artistic and General Director Andreas Mitisek put their spin on this immortal tale. Quiñones will team up again with writer/producer David Maldonando who worked together on ¿Quien Mato a Hector Lavoe?. Gallery Players Offers Free Tickets to Military & Veterans for A FEW GOOD MEN

Gallery Players, Brooklyn's premier Off-Off Broadway Theater has announced a new ticket donation program for the USO.  For the duration of A Few Good Men, Gallery Players is donating tickets to both active duty and retired military personnel for all remaining shows.  This program gives soldiers and their families visiting New York a chance to see the Aaron Sorkin Classic.  It tells the story the gripping story of of subpar Guantanamo Bay marine PFC William Santiago who mysteriously died after his platoon mates Lance Corporal Harold Dawson and PFC Landon Downy give him a "code red."
