The holiday season is in full swing, and top morning talk show “LIVE with Kelly and Michael” is getting into the spirit with three weeks of programming filled with festive theme weeks, top celebrities and the show's annual Christmas Eve special.

The Little Italy Merchants Association (LIMA) will begin its 13th Annual Christmas in Little Italy celebration tonight, December 7, 2013 at 6:30 PM with a gala Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in the Patio of Most Precious Blood Church, 109 Mulberry Street, between Canal and Hester Streets.

William Peace University, a private four-year university located in downtown Raleigh, has announced that it will host the fourth annual Children's Holiday Story Hour today, Dec. 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Main Building, located at 15 E. Peace St. Joined by Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, children are invited to listen to two holiday stories read by Debra M. Townsley, Ph.D., president of William Peace University, as well as have their photo taken and receive a surprise gift from Santa Claus himself. Refreshments will be served in the university's Main Parlor, where guests will enjoy carols sung by William Peace University Singers.

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) presents Elf The Musical, running tonight, Dec. 6 - 22 at Hobby Center's Sarofim Hall. Making his TUTS debut as the loveable 'elf' Buddy is Tommy J. Dose. He played Alfred Doolittle in the national tour of My Fair Lady and has circulated the regional theatre scene with companies including the Fulton Theatre, the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra, and the Cumberland County Playhouse. Dialogue with Three Chords(D3C) and BrooklynONE(bkONE) Productions team to present 'The Krampus' from playwright and D3C co-founder Stephen Gracia as part of bkONE's 'Holiday Weekend Experience' series of programming. The original play, directed by D3C co-founder Michael LoPorto, shows the largely unknown side of the Santa Claus mythos. A group of friends bond at a bar on Christmas Eve and exchange stories of their childhood fears of 'The Krampus,' a real figure from Norse mythology who functioned as an evil-twin to the benevolent Saint Nicholas. The darkly funny show also features original music in the form of bawdy holiday carols. The show runs for three performances: Friday, December 13 at 8:30pm and Saturday & Sunday, December 14 and 15 at 8pm at bkONE's home at St. John's, 461 99th Street in Brooklyn, NY. Theatre Out, Orange County's gay and lesbian theatre company, is pleased to announce the return of the holiday classic, LAST CHRISTMAS I GAVE YOU MY HEART BUT THE VERY NEXT DAY YOU SAID YOU WERE GAY by Darcy Hogan. The show received it's world premiere performance at Theatre Out in 2007 and became an immediate audience favorite. Since that time, the show has been presented annually to rave reviews.

The holiday season is looking bright at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre. Four special events in December will give families a way to celebrate while they enjoy live performances, dance, and even a sing-along film. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.
