Absolutely Filthy, the winner of 3 FringeNYC Overall Excellence Awards (Overall Play, Actor and Audience Favorite) will join the 10th Annual FringeNYC Encore Series. This unauthorized parody of the classic cartoon Peanuts which envisions what the beloved characters might be like in their 30's will run October 1-5 at SoHo Playhouse.

Amber Martin to Kick Off Bi-Monthly Series of Performances at Joe's Pub on 8/12

Celebrated singer and comedian Amber Martin embarks on a bi-monthly year-long performance residency at Joe's Pub at The Public with her newest show The Days of My Lives on Tuesday, August 12 at 9:30PM (doors 9:00PM). Over the course of her year at the Pub, she will showcase new material and characters, recounting her 30 year journey from the bayou in Southeast Texas to the Downtown bustle of New York. The world's longest-running LGBTQ Performance Festival, HOT! offers theater, music, dance, puppetry, performance art and homoeroticism for the whole family! HOT! is the pioneering festival of queer performance and culture - and the oldest annual festival of its kind in the world. Dixon Place is proud the HOT! serves as the model for other queer festivals across the globe and has become a performance destination for emerging talent in the LGBTQ community. This year's HOT!, featuring hundreds of participating artists presenting their newest creations, will run July 5th through August 2nd at Dixon Place, located at 161A Chrystie Street in New York City.

TV: HEDWIG's Kevin Adams Celebrates Tony Win for Best Lighting Design of a Musical

As it was just announced last night, Kevin Adams won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Lighting Design of a Musical for Broadway's Hedwig and the Angry Inch. HEDWIG's Kevin Adams Wins Tony for Best Lighting Design of a Musical

Kevin Adams won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Lighting Design of a Musical for HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH. This is Kevin Adams's sixth Tony nomination. He won Tony Awards for his lighting designs of Spring Awakening (2007), The 39 Steps (2008), and American Idiot (2010).

Photo Coverage: Nick Ziobro Celebrates Album Release at Birdland

Michael Feinstein joined Nick Ziobro, the 17 year-old pop/jazz vocal sensation, as a special guest for his CD release concert at Birdland Jazz Club (315 West 44th Street in Manhattan) last night, May 22 at 6:00 PM. The CD's all-star band - led by Tedd Firth and featuring music Jay Leonhart on bass, Ray Marchica on drums, Brian Pareschi on trumpet and flugelhorn, and Marc Phaneuf on saxophone and clarinet - also joined the concert. Nick's debut album A Lot of Livin' to Do is produced by Michael Feinstein, the two-time Emmy and five-time Grammy Award-nominated vocalist, pianist and musicologist.
