MASKS To Open at J.E.T. Studios 1/20

MASKS is a buddy dramedy about two men growing up in the juvenile justice system, struggling to make it to manhood, battling with their past to shed their masks as they deal with crucial life issues that young people face.

STOMP To Return to Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, 3/23

STOMP is making its return to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center. The return of the percussive hit also brings some new sections of the show now updated and restructured and the addition of two new full-scale routines, utilizing props like tractor tire inner tubes and paint cans.

Ruben Wills to Speak at THE MOUNTAINTOP for MLK Day

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday, New York City Councilman Ruben Wills (Queens District 28) will present a New York City Proclamation to the Broadway production of The Mountaintop by Katori Hall. Citations will be given to cast members Samuel L. Jackson, Angela Bassett, director Kenny Leon and producers Jean Doumanian and Sonia Friedman, following the Sunday matinee performance, January 15th.

Photo Coverage: Samuel L. Jackson and Angela Bassett Unveil Sardi's Portraits!

The Mountaintop by Katori Hall, stars Samuel L. Jackson as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and Angela Bassett, and is directed by Tony Award® nominee Kenny Leon (Stick Fly, Fences, A Raisin in the Sun). It began performances on September 22, 2011 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre and opened on Thursday, October 13, 2011 for a limited engagement through January 22, 2012. Upon closing The Mountaintop will have played 24 preview and 117 regular performances.

CATS to Play at the Orpheum Theater, 2/17-19

CATS returns to the Orpheum Theater Friday, February 17 through Sunday, February 19 for five performances. CATS is being presented by Omaha Performing Arts and Broadway Across America.

The Negro Ensemble Company Opens THE PICTURE BOX at Theatre Row, 1/11

'The PICTURE BOX" by Cate Ryan will be presented by The Negro Ensemble Company Off Broadway* at Theatre Row - Beckett Theatre, 410 West 42nd Street. Previews begin Wednesday, January 11th, 2012 and the opening is Sunday, January 15th for the limited engagement from the theatre company. The new play is directed by Charles Weldon.

Joyce Friedmann to Head O&M's Theatrical Touring Division

Joyce Friedmann, former president of Friedmann Theatrical and director of Press, Publications and Advertising, Yale Repertory Theatre/Yale School of Drama, has joined O&M Co., it was announced today by Rick Miramontez, President. Ms. Friedmann will oversee her own roster of accounts, and launch O&M Co.'s new theatrical touring division.

Saycon Sengbloh Returns To FELA! For One Week in LA

Saycon Sengbloh is set to reprise the powerful role of Sandra Iszadore in the landmark Tony Award winning Broadway musical, FELA!, for a one week engagement at the Ahmanson Theatre (Los Angeles).
