Casting has been announced for the world-premiere of Kara Manning's play SLEEPING ROUGH, directed by Tony Award nominee Sam Buntrock and presented Off-Broadway at the Wild Project (195 East 3rd Street) by Page 73 Productions, currently celebrating its 15th season presenting works by up-and-coming playwrights in New York. Performances of SLEEPING ROUGH will begin April 3 prior to an official press opening of April 11. Tickets for SLEEPING ROUGH are now on sale.

Seattle Repertory Theatre announced the line-up for its first New Play Festival in Winter 2013, including four plays-in-progress from three Seattle playwrights and a native Idahoan. From tonight, Jan. 5 to Feb. 3, Seattle Rep will present workshops and readings of new works by Robert Schenkkan (By the Waters of Babylon, The Kentucky Cycle), Samuel D. Hunter (A Bright New Boise, The Whale), and Elizabeth Heffron (New Patagonia, Mitzi's Abortion). Newcomer Justin Huertas rounds out the group with an innovative debut.
