Director Walter Meierjohann has announced the cast of the world premiere of The Funfair, the first HOME production in its brand new home at First Street in Manchester. An adaptation by Olivier Award-winning playwright Simon Stephens of Ödon von Horvath's classic 1932 play Kasimir and Karoline, the production features a cast of 13 actors and actor-musicians.

New Hampshire Theatre Project's Youth Repertory Company will present Eugene Ionesco's absurdist classic, Rhinoceros, on May 15-24. One day, the residents of a small provincial French town begin to experience unsettling brushes with a rampaging rhinoceros. While others find these attacks shocking and problematic, the simplistic, kind-hearted protagonist Berenger is seemingly disinterested. Events begin to take a strange turn as Berenger's friends, co-workers, and his romantic interest become tangled in this web of "rhinocerotic" intrigue and he is forced to choose sides.
New Yiddish Rep Postpones SELTZER NIGHTS

New Yiddish Rep is announcing the postponement of its vaudeville project 'Seltzer Nights' due to scheduling conflicts with the creative team. A darkly theatrical cabaret that recreates the bawdy, boisterous atmosphere of a Lower East Side Yiddish music hall a century ago, 'Seltzer Nights' began on Saturday March 21 and was scheduled to incubate at the Castillo Theatre, 543 West 42nd Street, through June 13. Its three remaining performances - on April 18, May 9 and June 13 -- have been cancelled.

Royal & Derngate's Made in Northampton 2015 season starts in April with the sweeping epic, Cyrano de Bergerac. Directed by Lorne Campbell, Anthony Burgess' translation of Edmund Rostand's classic play is a co-production with Northern Stage, and takes to the Royal stage in Northampton from Friday 3 April, transferring to Newcastle from 29 April.

Author Alan Moore, who is best known for his graphic novels like “Watchmen” and “V for Vendetta,” is slated to publish 'Jerusalem,' his second novel, in 2016. If Moore's past interviews are any sign, 'Jerusalem' could clock in at over one million words.
