ABC's Dancing with the Stars has announced a new twist for the upcoming season. The new season of the ABC hit television show will premiere with 16 celebrities, and pare them down with one particularly 'brutal' elimination schedule.

Two-time Emmy Award nominee and celebrated TV personality Samantha Harris ('The Insider,' 'Dancing with the Stars') is making her Broadway stage debut in the starring role of Roxie Hart in the Tony Award-winning hit musical CHICAGO for a six-week limited engagement now through Sunday, August 16, 2009 at the Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St.). Dancing with the Stars host Samantha Harris revealed on the final performance show tonight that she will be joining the Broadway production of the long running hit musical 'CHICAGO' this summer in the role of 'Roxie Hart'. Harris announced she'd be performing during July and August, there has been no official confirmation of her appearing at this time from the production.

The 11th Annual Hollywood Film Festival was held October 17-22, followed by The Hollywood Awards Gala Ceremony at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Monday, October 22.

According to the official website for the ABC show, 'Dancing with the Stars,' over fourteen members from the cast of the film adaptation of Dreamgirls will be performing on tonight's result show at 9pm.
